nickman54 0
Reading both of you "experienced" men lend advice in this area turns my stomach a bit. Have some of the pale ale, it will calm your tummy down. http://images.complex.com/complex/image/upload/t_article_image/u8fg20og7w42zfpirqtn.jpg

Going from PBR to double anything is going to be too strong. It is an aquired taste.

Rocketsan 772
Is cider gaining in popularity in the U.S. as it is up here? It's probably the fastest growing product in our liquor stores...

It had its time about 5-6 years ago.
EddieAngel 508
Not in Socal. It had its time about 5-6 years ago. Aye, Cali is in the midst of the great craft beer renaissance. I can't walk out my front door without tripping over four or five brewmasters trying to steal my doormat to make the next great Sneaker Stout. DamshaBua 48
I am on a Green Flash kick at the moment. It's my brewery du jour. Currently imbibing (literally, at the moment): http://res.cloudinary.com/ratebeer/image/upload/w_250,c_limit,q_85,d_beer_def.gif/beer_84962.jpg I bought them at room temperature at Total Wine (greatest store ever). The first one I allowed to get too cold in the freezer. The second was cool and a better temperature. This pours pitch black, like motor oil black. You can definitely taste chocolate, malt, coffee. It's fairly boozy at 8.8 ABV, so don't rifle them down like a Guinness or Murphy's. Also have in the fridge: http://draftmag.com/images/image.php/Green-Flash_Green-Bullet_2014.jpg?height=400&quality=90&image=/file/beers/Green-Flash_Green-Bullet_2014.jpg I don't know if this is their "answer" to Russian River's Pliney the Younger, but it's their triple IPA. http://s1288.photobucket.com/user/FASTFORWARDMX/media/Mobile%20Uploads/GreenFlash_SoulStyle_zps8834380b.jpg.html
jbrown_9999 1,023
Anyone use the app UNTAPPD (Untapped without the E)? Keeps track of what beers you have had and where you had them. Pretty cool.
