  1. I was also surprised not to see any Irish jump into the portal. Maybe Freeman is having 1-on-1 player meetings this week and players are waiting until after that.
  2. Also two minute warnings each half https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39976083/ncaa-approves-helmet-communications-fbs-games
  3. No idea if they want to but could Anderson or Thurman play other positions?
  4. OL from today's (3/20) practice reports: https://www.si.com/college/notredame/football/notre-dame-football-spring-practice-report-march-20 I an guessing that RG and RT might see the most competition between now and the first game. *** The first team offensive line left to right: LT Charles Jagusah LG Pat Coogan C Ashton Craig RG Billy Schrauth RT Tosh Baker *** The second team left to right: LT Sullivan Absher LG Sam Pendleton C Joe Otting RG Rocco Spindler RT Aamil Wagner
  5. Had ND beat Ohio St, then ND's following games might have seen more viewers and Ohio St might have less viewers since the Irish would have been a Top 5 team and the Buckeyes would have dropped.
  6. I like that if the Irish make the CFP, they get another $6M which puts them in the SEC/Big 10 territory money-wise. BTW, only independents get that $6M bump. I think it was a away of saying that ND could get SEC/Big 10 if they proved they belonged. Probably the best ND could expect given the voting numbers.
  7. Javeon Campbell being a three star might be deceiving since he has only played one season of football (Junior year of high school). He is also rated as an Edge as a prospect but at 6'5" 260# has room to grow into interior DL. High ceiling type of recruit
  8. Not sure if right thread but Pyne headed to Missouri after leaving Arizona St. He returned to ND to get his degree which makes him immediately eligible to play as a grad transfer. (Not sure that anyone has to sit a year anymore).
  9. I love the fact that Matty having mainly focused on basketball until somewhat recently suggests that he should move better than the typical OL
  10. I will be honest that the lack of an Ohio St offer for an Ohio WR is a little concerning. That said, I have not looked at Ohio St's WR room not recruiting to know if they are set at the slot position which is where I think Terry plays
  11. Given Bettis' profile (NFL HOFer) and the exposure that The Bus has had lately, taking his son is something that IMO you just need to do from a program PR perspective. I am also not going to second guess the coaches when they 1) do this for a living and 2) have seen most of these recruits perform in person.
