Dude passed up a bunch of jobs and was quite loyal to ND.    Regarding Tyler, thats the reality, kids want to play. It isnt about loyalty, it is about opportunity for personal development.

  • Oh I agree with that. Besides some Rocket and Zorich type guys ND’s talent is as close to being where it was back then that I can remember. They are just missing explosive guys at certain positions at

I bet you're real close.

It's just so easy to transfer now.  If a guy has NFL aspirations, and most of them do, they sign the letter and find a place they can start.  I don't see us losing many impact guys.

I wouldn't see Kristofic and Spindler leaving before spring.  2 open positions for maybe 4 guys (Carmody, Coogan).  I hear you on Rocco, seems they would have feathered him in there some, but he looked good in the spring IMO - he'll develop.

As with the LB's, the offseason will show who's going to put in the work.  Sneed is 19 now - he'll put on 10 lbs even if he's a "hardgainer" - they probably see him at 225 tops, anyway.  Kollie should, too.  O-Line will.  Young D-Line will gain strength.

We'll be relying on a few new faces for depth, but almost every position group (except OL) is in better shape next year IMO.  I believe our D-Line improves over the course of a year.  Ademilola might even come back???

ND 2023 version is faster, stronger...although less experienced no doubt.  Could be fun!

Why would Sherwood leave? He was a walk-on who earned a scholarship, No other team would take him. He wouldnt be considered much of a loss either. He was a pure blocking TE that was average at blocking...

Only think i can think of is to go down a level, but agree with you

Good luck to the kid.  Got a taste of starting and loved it!  Can't help but root for him.

I guess.....I mean you would think he has no future as a profesional....I guess he does not value the education he is receiving at Notre Dame?

Imagine he graduated or will this Dec

I doubt he's graduating in 3 years.  And it seems like he's always loved the university, but good luck to him.

Maybe Rees has been having some very honest conversations with him that didn't sound promising for his future QB role.

You can only play this game for so long. Future as a pro or not, enjoy this game while you can. All the best to Drew, however I am not sure why he didn’t wait until after the bowl?

Time to see if Buchner can be the guy.

Dont recal whether he was an EE but remember, these players take two summer sessions a year. No unheard of if he was graduating this Dec

Pyne did EE.  But amazing if he did that in 3.

If Buchner is not ready by the bowl game, it's Angeli time with Powlus as backup!  Wow!

if he took summer semesters, I assume it is possible to do in 3 years.

Does ND give a lot of AP credit? My three kids started college with 30 to 37 credits due to AP classes

He can stay till he graduates. That could be online while agreeing to go X school in spring or summer

He's clearly looking for a starting job, so he'll certainly be enrolling at X School U next month.
