This thread was doomed from the outset. Can't believe I actually read the the last 8 (and only) posts. These are the days and we are doomed as a humanity. It is written. Love your family, protect them by being smarter than they are even, be righteous and whole in your love for others. Accept that misery will be suffered upon you at some time, and maybe more than you expect. There were better than you that have endured more than you can imagine and they still kept their faith.

So... they're now saying a Security guard was shot 6 minutes before the shooting started and fired 200 rounds into the hallway, and police were dispatched to the 31st floor and found out shooting was going on above them...?

 

This is a weird story. Did the hotel security not have radios where the guy can radio in and tell dispatch what room the shooter guy is in? This could have been severely thwarted with a tighter turnaround time.

 

Story seems bogus..

That gives a total of 10 minutes between the beginning and end of the shooting. Cops didn't arrive in force for at least another 10 minutes on the 32nd floor. This could have been a hell of a lot worse so.

And just like that.. sprinkle in some Harvey Weinstein chaos and no one gives a FUK about the fact 500 plus people were mowed down, a witness turns up missing after being heavily secured in a hotel room only to appear on the Ellen show 5 days later while the Vegas PD can align their story to seem less fishy.

They are not trying to approve suppressors for general sales. They're trying to get them removed from NFA listing. You'd still have to get a NICS check to buy one. There'd be no $200 tax stamp and filing of an ATF Form 4. It would, essentially, become like buying a firearm. Nobody would be handing them out on Halloween.
