Some are speculating it is Jalen Wiggins who is currently committed to Florida and a top 100 player. However, I have not heard the name from an actual insider or whether it is legitimate interest. Interesting note: it does seem like he had a committable offer from Stanford and was one of his top schools at one point.

RBs in general are just not as coveted these days because their shelf life is so small.

Agreed, I do think Ford is gone as well. Just not subtracting him yet until it is official With the loss of Micah Bell, Notre Dame is officially at 87 scholarships (this includes Rubio).

Big23head kind of mentioned the gist of it, but from my understanding, ND really only wanted 3 OL this cycle. They are looking at Josh Petty only because he is an ELITE prospect (5* material) and because he is likely a guard. Very thorough list Big23head and I agree with all of it. I have no idea who the SEC committed player is though, it may just be smoke to get some clicks.

With the departure of the punter, Notre Dame is still at 88 (if you still count Rubio, but all indications are that he is coming back).

Not a big fan of this myself, just not my type, but I know quite a few people who really like the design.

Honestly, this is a good thing. I do not see any downside to this. Same rules as the NFL, just do not adopt their overtime rules!!!

Looks like I was wrong about ND looking at CBs in the portal. Notre Dame is hosting Rice CB Treshon Devones. It seems ND is telling him that he is being recruited as a depth piece, not promising him any starting spot.

I think ND is just a hat on the table for Alexander, haven't heard anything about him for months from the ND side of things. James Simon really needs to be wow'd by this visit. I just do not think he ends up at ND, but if ND can do so well that they get an OV later in the year, then I will be slightly more optimistic. I do wonder what would happen if Simon did want to come... 3 RBs for the 2025 class?

Starting caliber OTs are quite rare in the spring transfer portal. Most players who enter the portal in the spring are ones that got beat out. I doubt there will be any OT out there worth looking at compared to what we have on the roster. 5* Lambert will be here in the Fall as well. CB position is fine I think. Morrison will be healthy and then you will have 2 freshmen coming in with Leonard and Moore. Rubio does look like he will return (but what shape will he be in). I am personally counting Ford as gone in my head. I think DL (whether it be interior or edge) is the only position I think ND should look into in my opinion.

I would like all of those guys he mentioned in that tweet to end up at ND: WR - Derek Meadows - ND appears to lead CB - Dallas Golden - ND appears to lead WR - Tanook Hines (I didnt know who this "x handle" belonged to so I opened it to see. This kid is posting almost exclusively ND / Duece Knight stuff) S - Jadon Blair - ND appears to lead, but it is close CB - Mark Zackary - ND appears to lead CB - Trystan Haynes (they may take him as a 4th CB) LB - Madden Faraimo (Ryan Roberts, on the podcast yesterday, called this recruitment eerily similar to KVA's recruitment; there is more optimism here than I originally thought. He put ND in his top 4 with only one visit to ND over a year ago. The visit this past weekend is reported to have been fantastic from every source there is. I am still hesitant as I think he will be a tough pull from the West, but I am definitely intrigued how this one plays out.)

Josh Petty would be a major score that did not seem like a possibility a couple months ago. There does seem to be some question on whether he will still be able to make the trip though. Haynes is a solid CB that I would be happy with. I do wonder if they will still take both Golden and Zackary if he commits. The early answer being reported is yes, they would take 4 CB + 3 Safeties this cycle.

- Very curious to see how the '25 visits go this week. Most of them seem very important in their own way. Blair, Mikhail, Taylor would all be huge for this class. - Definitely want Campbell in the class. After missing on Scott last year, they need an additional big man on the DL this class - I am honestly not that high on Boggs, I prefer Meadows and Taylor at WR. Seems like being an OSU decommit is amping people up, as well as being a teammate with Hart (ND's likely '26 QB commit). I think he is looking for the type of thing ND does not really offer.

I think Sneed on defense because there is a lot of pressure on the guy due to him being a 5* prospect coming in. He has all the physical talent you need for an elite player, just needs to get the mental part down.

Surprised Sacca is going to commit this quickly, but it is good news.

It will be very interesting to see what QB they end up getting in this cycle. I think they are in the top 2 for 3 of those elite QBs mentioned. Hart, Grubbs, and Lyons; if I had to pick now, it would be Hart. I think Smigiel is universally seen as the best QB in the class, but it is honestly pretty close. I don't know if there is a generational QB in this class, but there are a ton of ELITE QB prospects in 2026; very loaded class.

Really like this kid as being a part of the class. I still think he is a low-floor, VERY high-ceiling type of player, but he will be a glue that keeps this class together and bring in good talent around him.

I think they are banking on his genetics to pop kind of like Bryce Young. However, I will be VERY happy with this WR corps if they land Meadows and either Taylor or Vines-Bright.

Campbell could be a legit option for the 2nd true interior DL player of the class. I want them to get a 2nd interior DL for this class. They wanted two last year and missed out on Justin Scott. T Taylor is a WR I really want in this class. It would be perfect if ND landed him and Meadows. As for CB, I still think ND leads for Golden and Zackary. not sure they would take a 4th if it was not Devin Williams. Haynes is a very good player, but I do not think ND is the favorite to land him.
