Ill go with Heuerman, though I think we get both... The only reason I choose Heuerman is because he is set to announce this week. Rochell has no real announcement date, so he could announce tomorrow or he could announce a month from now...

Really the only true Guard of the class, much needed in my opinion. I think when the other recruiting sites rank him as a guard, his rankings will go up to where Scout has him... Love this OL class.

Kiel simply isnt ready yet, but his arm strength is scary good!

You obviously have something against Golson, not sure why? I will be favoriting this thread and when August comes around we will see. Again, the only thing consistent among the ND writers is that Hendrix is in the top 2 (most seem to think he is #1 right now)... however, having said that, it is only spring practice drills that are determining this. BlackIrish, you really need to get a grasp on things and come to realize that Spring Practice is not a good indicator of depth charts. The Spring Game tomorrow will throw this whole thing into chaos for just about every position, but its only spring... But seriously, I dont know what you have against Golson bro, what did he ever do to you? Golson has plenty of potential, you have to recognize that, but so does Hendrix and Kiel...

I dont have a problem with it. The way I see it, the offense he wants to run (the one he envisioned) is starting to take form at Notre Dame. I guess you could POSSIBLY draw two things from this, though one is stretching it: 1) Previous OC, Molnar i believe, wasnt on the same page with Kelly 2) Kelly seems to think he has a more mobile QB, whether that is Hendrix, Golson, or possibly Kiel... or Rees is more mobile now, who knows. I just hope people dont think this is a diss to the seniors, because I dont see it that way.

Amen, super excited about IU bball next year... I think ND bball will be pretty solid next year as well. Pacers seems to be strong. Colts are a little questionable at best. As someone who lives in southern indiana, the Cardinals are my MLB team... so I doing pretty well right now. now, ND football needs to have a BCS bowl season and IU football needs to win 6 games...

maybe they work 3rd shift, or this is their day off. My police department is 4 days off, 2 days on, so it changes every week. do you have a job? :fish2:

Again, who cares about Spring practice, its for the players to learn, not demonstrate, and for fans, it is to fill the need to watch something about football, nothing more...

BlackIrish, you seem to think Hansen is the only insider for Notre Dame football... His opinion is what you posted, but others have said something different. But you still have to realize that it is only Spring practice, spring practice should never determine who is the starter. Even if Golson is the #4 QB (which I HIGHLY doubt considered what I have heard with Kiel) there is plenty of summer practice and fall practice left to win the job.

I hope soon, because his committed would bring in 2-3 more stud LBs... the only thing optimistic about that statement is him being our "next" commit. I think we have a shot of getting one or two in the next week. I dont see Jaylon Smith announcing anytime in the next week. He is all ND... right now, but no news on him announcing anything soon.

Agreed, there is absolutely no point in Kelly to name a starter right now anytime soon... unless a QB comes out and throws a TD every single throw he makes at the B&G game.

I dont doubt any of that, unless the 2012 QB has a GREAT year... Kiel has all the talent in the world to be great, but the coaches themselves have said that he is still very RAW. A freshman QB is rarely ready for college showtime. Does anyone here really think Clausen was ready to play his freshman year?

Well, people are hoping someone at BG commits which would be before Heuerman commits. I think it is safe to say that Heuerman is a ND lean right now, but remember, he still hasnt met Meyer yet and he gets the last word in before he commits.

The only player that seems to be out of the race right now is Kiel and he will more than likely be redshirted... but NOTHING has been indicated that Golson is out of it or that Rees and Hendrix lead... This is still at least a 3 headed race. you have to remember, Spring is about learning, I think the real competition will start in the summer and fall with the BG game being a little peek into what they have learned. Spring is about drills, not scrimmages.
