  1. Josh Petty would be a major score that did not seem like a possibility a couple months ago. There does seem to be some question on whether he will still be able to make the trip though. Haynes is a solid CB that I would be happy with. I do wonder if they will still take both Golden and Zackary if he commits. The early answer being reported is yes, they would take 4 CB + 3 Safeties this cycle.
  2. - Very curious to see how the '25 visits go this week. Most of them seem very important in their own way. Blair, Mikhail, Taylor would all be huge for this class. - Definitely want Campbell in the class. After missing on Scott last year, they need an additional big man on the DL this class - I am honestly not that high on Boggs, I prefer Meadows and Taylor at WR. Seems like being an OSU decommit is amping people up, as well as being a teammate with Hart (ND's likely '26 QB commit). I think he is looking for the type of thing ND does not really offer.
  3. I think Sneed on defense because there is a lot of pressure on the guy due to him being a 5* prospect coming in. He has all the physical talent you need for an elite player, just needs to get the mental part down.
  4. Surprised Sacca is going to commit this quickly, but it is good news.
  5. It will be very interesting to see what QB they end up getting in this cycle. I think they are in the top 2 for 3 of those elite QBs mentioned. Hart, Grubbs, and Lyons; if I had to pick now, it would be Hart. I think Smigiel is universally seen as the best QB in the class, but it is honestly pretty close. I don't know if there is a generational QB in this class, but there are a ton of ELITE QB prospects in 2026; very loaded class.
  6. Really like this kid as being a part of the class. I still think he is a low-floor, VERY high-ceiling type of player, but he will be a glue that keeps this class together and bring in good talent around him.
  7. I think they are banking on his genetics to pop kind of like Bryce Young. However, I will be VERY happy with this WR corps if they land Meadows and either Taylor or Vines-Bright.
  8. Campbell could be a legit option for the 2nd true interior DL player of the class. I want them to get a 2nd interior DL for this class. They wanted two last year and missed out on Justin Scott. T Taylor is a WR I really want in this class. It would be perfect if ND landed him and Meadows. As for CB, I still think ND leads for Golden and Zackary. not sure they would take a 4th if it was not Devin Williams. Haynes is a very good player, but I do not think ND is the favorite to land him.
  9. I did think D Williams would be a fight to the end. I wonder if he cancels the ND visit he had scheduled. ND could still land an elite CB haul with Dallas Golden and Mark Zachary.
  10. #6 player overall? That is one heck of a jump...
  11. If he comes back 100% for the first game, I will be excited about the TE room this year. I think Raridon could be elite as well.
  12. - Lange is considered the best '25 OL prospect by some out of the 4, but it is debatable for sure. - There are a couple names for sure and Vines-Bright is definitely a possibility, but Meadows is the biggest 1st round draft pick potential out of the WRs. I am not a huge fan of having Burress, Terry, and Bettis Jr (who is likely to commit soon) so early with other big names on the board, but we shall see. - Shanklin, I would honestly like to see something from him soon, I fear the longer his recruitment goes on, the worse it is for ND, but I do think ND is currently the team to beat as well. As for CB, it isnt just Zachary, they lead for Dallas Golden as well (ND is recruiting him as a CB), who I think could be the best of an elite DB haul. Devin Williams is also someone they are in the top 2 for. - Owusu-Boatang is a long way off of making any decision. I could see him announcing at an All-Star game and ND will be fighting an uphill battle. We shall see, I am not optimistic right now, but I haven't heard much from the kid since he LOVED his ND visit. I am surprised ND made Faraimo's final 4. Havent heard much about him other than he is very good, but that probably means ND is liked by the guy, but wont be #1 in the end, I think he stays out West.
  13. What are you hearing about how many OLinemen they plan on taking in the 2025 class? Will they accept a 4th OL if Lange wants in? WR is going to be interesting as well. From what I am hearing, they will for sure save a spot for Meadows, even if that means they take 5 WRs.
  14. Cant be happier right now. Perfect way to move the coaches and promote from within! I truly think ND was victorious this off season.
  15. They really like Taylor as well They will take Bettis if he wants in. I think if Meadows commits, they will still push for Taylor as a possible 5th WR.
  16. Honestly, all of the commits and potential commits are tall/long enough to be tackles. We shall see. I agree with you, but insiders are saying something different I am very high on Noah Mikhail, I hope his visit goes well, would love for him to one of the LBs in this class. Right now, LB recruiting is wide open.
  17. It seems the safety class is safe at the moment. I really hope they sign Taylor, Long, and Blair this cycle, it would be massive.
  18. Dallas Golden should be all ND right now based on what I am hearing and he would be a major addition to this class; they want him as a CB. Hopefully, he is the first of the elite trio of CBs to commit to ND as ND would take 4 if they land Thomas, Golden, Zackary IV, and Williams (They are the favorites for the first 3 names there, and are even for Williams) Matty Augustine should also be picking ND, the question is whether ND stops at 3 or pushes for a 4th Olineman. I believe they should continue after Lange, however, some insiders believe ND only wants 3 Olinemen right now.
  19. Yay, I am not concerned about Heisman talk right now, though I believe this year, it is more open than most recent years.
  20. Honestly, I think the schedule worked out well with the BYEs where they are. The only thing that I am slightly concerned about purely from a scheduling standpoint is ND playing on the far East Coast and then the following week playing on the far West Coast. But the BYE's legitimately break the season into 3 parts and one bye is right before one of their big games (FSU). As for it being Army, I am not overly bothered by it. The 100 year anniversary of the 4 Horsemen, a neutral site in a nice venue, not a FCS team, and should be an easy win. The schedule looks pretty easy for 2024 and it does not bother me at all right now. It is strong enough that an 11-1 ND should easily get into the playoffs and I think ND should be favored in every game unless someone plays much better than projected.
  21. I have a similar opinion as tneun89. I think Estime could be a round higher and Bertrand a round lower. Who do you all think will be the first RB taken? I think Estime could have a shot, I think he is the most NFL type back.
  22. They showed her WAY more than 2 times (maybe 2 times per KC drive). The issue is that most fans of NFL are not Swift fans and they CONSTANTLY show her and make a comment about her celebration/body language/etc. We, as football fans, simply do not care. Meaning that they are just pandering to the few Swift fans that are watching just to see Swift. I'll be honest, the hate isnt even directed at her, it is directed at the producers for showing her so much and talking about her.
  23. I know I. Taylor (our highest rated recruit) said he needed to pray on it. I do hope it doesn't affect the Safety class.
