Buchner's stat line against USF this season with Bama: 5/14, 34 yards, 0 TD, 2 rushes, 11 yards. Benched. 

He would not have beaten OSU, Duke, Louisville, USC, Clemson. He might have even lost to NC State. This schedule is tough - don't know how anyone could make an argument to the contrary: 4 Top 25 games in a row, plus Clemson on the road with their Top 10 defense. 

Buchner is not a P5 QB.

Hartman was/is one of the most decorated QBs in NCAA history in terms of passing statistics. He has not looked good the last six weeks, which surely falls on him, along with Parker, Freeman, and ND having G5 level WRs. 

To argue for Buchner over Hartman is nonsensical.
