Thank you sir. Read somewhere he was sub 4.5, but didn't see specifics. 

Also read that he was likely a X WR... Didn't understand that, given his lack of height.

Agreed. It's fine that he is a 3-star. Not every 3-star is deserving of a 4th star or a diamond in the rough. I do think he is better than he overall rating, but he is properly a 3-star, IMO.

His limited offers are likely due to his longstanding commitment to Texas Tech. He committed as soon as they offered and didn't entertain any other school until this fall when ND came calling. Per the above, many P5 schools offered/showed interest once he decommitted. However, this was basically an ND-Texas Tech battle the entire time.

Agreed on the most. But UTx, TAMU, and OK are never afraid of offer TX kids, regardless of commitments. And a TTU commitment isn't going to scare those guys. If we are taking 3 star kids, I prefer TX and FL 3 star kids. IMO, he's properly ranked, and hopefully he's just a late bloomer.
