It is being reported that Ian Book will be starting MNF for the Saints against the Dolphins (7:15pm CST on ESPN).

As a Notre Dame fan, I will be watching it and hoping he does well. Would love to see him do well and make ND look good in the process.

Starting due to virus issues. Hopefully he will be starting behind a strong line and good receivers and not 3rd stringers.

Good Luck.

Tom Rees' claim to fame right here.  3 star to NFL starter!

Hope he stays healthy between now and then

I think both starting OTs and both TEs are out

Be nice to see him play well

Ugly. Not a recipe for success right there. I saw a mock draft of Matt Corral to NO. Would suck to see Book go out like that. Reminds me of the Jimmy Clausen Cam Newton mess from 2009. 10 maybe?

To me he has a chance to be like Ryan Fitzpatrick or Tyrod Taylor. He'll have to be willing to move throughout the country to different cities though, but the league needs fill in starting qbs.  I think he'll be great at it.

First pass, complete.

Second pass, pick 6.

Shake it off, Ian.

rough start sack

Not the way I’m sure he dreamed his first couple of passes would go.

His INT was a poor throw, no doubt.

Also, he’s not getting any help from the OL.  Coaches should have planned better as well, including quick outs and spreading the defense out a little

ball got tipped though, his trajectory on throws is always a problem

True, it was tipped.  But a low throw is why it was tipped.
