What to Watch - Week 12 (Virginia)
Texas-Arkansas. I think Texas is a bit overrated. Pulling for Arkansas in this one. Utah-Colorado. Hoping for Utah to win but they are not a good team this year. I think the buffs take this. Clemson-Pittsburgh. Always anti Narduzzi and Pitt. Taking and wanting Clemson to win. Tulane-Navy. Yes, go Navy. LSU-Florida. Yes, go Florida. Boston College-SMU. Really don’t know much of anything about SMU. BC is not bad this year, hope they can pull the upset. Nebraska-USC. Would be good for USC to win a few games down the stretch, but really would rather see Nebraska take this. Oregon-Wisky. Just can’t see the Badgers pulling the upset, though I hope they do. Tenn-Georgia. Would rather see Tenn lose to help ND, but it’s difficult to pull for either of these teams. Kansas-BYU. Kansas has been playing much better the past few games and I think they can take this one. Hope so anyways. And of course, pulling for ND over Virginia.

What to Watch - Week 11 (FSU)
Yeah, at first glance, it sure seems like that. Lol. I don’t have an extreme hatred for Michigan. I have some very fond memories of playing in a few Volleyball tournaments there. But that’s besides the point. I always pull for the likes of Northwestern, Vandy and schools in the same situation that are up against it when it comes to competing against the bigger boys week in and week out. In football, Indiana U can fit in there. So to me, they are a “feel-good” story this season. So is Vandy! But the way I’m looking at is like this: The Irish win out and they’re in, no matter what Indiana does. If ND stumbles and loses another game, they will have 2 bad losses and probably aren’t getting in anyways, again with whatever happens with Indiana. Also Indiana still has to play Ohio St. and they’re probably not winning that one. Indiana beating Michigan probably is not going to have much effect on ND’s playoff chances. At least I hope not! For the record, I think the Irish win out and get a good seed.

This looks really sharp, Mike. I like it!

What to Watch - Week 11 (FSU)
Miami-GTech. This one is easy, always pull for GT against Miami. This year, next year, etc. Florida-Texas. Not a fan of either team but go Florida. They win a few more games and they’ll keep the HC for a few more years….and probably be mediocre for a few more years. Navy-USF. Go Navy Georgia-Ole Miss. Gotta pull for Ole Miss here. Michigan-Indy. It probably hurts ND, but go Indy. Colorado-TxTech. Go TxTech. When CU loses, not much news out about Deion, which is a good thing. So Carolina-Vandy. Pulling for Clark Lea and Vandy! FSU-ND. Difficult to understand how FSU became so bad so quickly. bama-LSU. Can they both lose? Washington-PSU. Pulling for the Huskies here. BYU-Utah. Utah was a model of consistency, what happened to them? Not quite as bad as the FSU downfall, but still. Even so,hope they can win this game though.
- Riley Leonard is going to be awful

Anthonie Knapp
Saw this over at Bleacher Report. Anthonie Knapp was named as one of the top freshman of the week. Pretty impressive! Notre Dame left tackle Anthonie Knapp was lights out in pass protection in the Fighting Irish's 31-13 win over Georgia Tech. The 6-foot-4, 291-pound true freshman did not allow a single quarterback pressure in 32 pass blocking snaps against the Yellow Jackets, earning a season-high 86.3 PFF pass block grade for his performance. This was the second time in three games that Knapp kept a clean sheet in pass protection by not surrendering a single pressure. The Roswell (Ga.) product was ranked as the No. 62 offensive tackle in the country and No. 80 overall prospect in the Peach State for the Class of 2024.

2025 Recruiting Prospects
Yes, I can see a starting QB not being named until well into fall camp. Even if one of them separates himself from the field in the spring. (Hopefully that will be CJ Carr!) A few schools don’t seem to have much of a problem keeping their QB roster in tact, like Georgia and bama. And how does Texas recruit and keep both Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning???

2025 Recruiting Prospects
Big, which positions would you expect the staff to target in the portal? My guess would be interior DL, CB, Safety and WR. I don’t expect a QB this time around, unless of course, an absolute stud QB becomes available.

Freeman ain't the guy
This. MF is what you want in a HC at ND. I find it difficult to root against him. My impression is that many people are pulling for him to be successful. Can’t say the same about BK’s tenure at ND.
