irishrush 60
That was an epic collapse. My eighth grade team can break the press better. It’s like they never have seen that before.
ND_JACK 321
Yes ND lost to BC 64 - 61. With 5:30 left ND was up by 14 pts then fell apart. I hope Brey isn’t giving Ivey any coaching tips. https://www.bcinterruption.com/2021/1/7/22219969/boston-college-womens-basketball-completes-the-comeback-defeats-notre-dame

ND_JACK 321
ND avenged that awful lost to BC earlier in season. Now have a winning streak of 2 and are 7-5 overall. https://notredame.rivals.com/news/balanced-notre-dame-defeats-boston-college-83-
ND_JACK 321
Olivia could be playing for the Irish when they face Syracuse on January 31. https://247sports.com/college/notre-dame/Article/Olivia-Miles-Notre-Dame-Womens-Basketball-Enrolls-Early-and-is-Eligible-to-Play-This-Season-159560130/
irishrush 60
I saw that. I wonder if this means that she will be eating a year of eligibility or if she will get 5 due to COVID. If she is losing, I'm not sure it is worth it to eat a year on a mediocre season - unless she can come in and really contribute.
irishrush 60
This article answered my question and rubbed some salt in the wound about Ivey's son. I still cringe that we didn't get him on the men's team. What a shame. https://www.ndinsider.com/basketball/womens/why-olivia-miles-move-makes-sense-for-notre-dame/article_21c12f3b-4979-557f-996e-515dbea4fa77.html

As a result, do not blame Ivey's son for going to Purdue. (Not only is Purdue the Big Ten's youngest team, they have no seniors and are getting two Top 40 recruits next season - arrow pointing up for them)

ND_JACK 321
Another game we could of/ should of won.....this time against an average UNC team. Irish now 8-6 on the year. https://und.com/irish-falter-down-stretch-drop-78-73-battle-to-unc/
ND_JACK 321
For those interested the women play at 11:00 am today against Syracuse on the ACC network. And SU is supposed to have a good team....top 25 caliber.
BrianKellyWasNotTheMan 12
This team can look so good and brain dead so fast! 15 point lead and dominating to being down. Lol you know it’s bad when Cosgrove is playing.
BrianKellyWasNotTheMan 12
4 ****ing points in the 4th, is an absolute disgrace. So far I just can’t get excited about Ivey. This team is way to talented.
ND_JACK 321
Wow.....very disappointing 4Q after being up by 13 or 15 in the 3rd. They just fell apart they left Syracuse shooters wide open, SU just out hustled them and turned the ball over I think 3 or 4 times in 4Q. On the bright side Miles the ND guard that just graduated from high school a week or two ago played today. She is good. She can handle the ball excellent and will be fun to watch her passing in the years to come
Frankus 197
4 ****ing points in the 4th, is an absolute disgrace. So far I just can’t get excited about Ivey. This team is way to talented. Syracuse tied the game with 5:13 and had 8 offensive rebounds from that time till the end of the game, compared to none for Notre Dame. That’s hustle and strength and conditioning. This is why ND keeps collapsing. The other teams are in better shape. irishrush 60
They all seem really out of shape. No gas left at the end - especially Brunelle. They should keep her our until she gets back in shape. Too slow. Defensive liability even though she can score.
ND_JACK 321
To everyone’s point those last few minutes Syracuse had at least several blocked shots. The Irish were just to tired to get off their feet.

In shape or not, whatever they’re doing with her nutritionally is wrong.
