I saw that. If Wertz is anywhere near where he should be, he will be starting within 5 games. Durham will get a lot more pine time. IMHO The starting lineup getting most of the min. Will be Ryan, hubb, Goodwin, Wertz and laz.

Carter Karles has said that Edwards doesn't talk to anyone really. He said that Edwards is keeping his thoughts and feelings very close to the vest. ND recruits reach out to him and really don't get a whole lot. Karles said if anyone is predicting where Edwards is going, it is a complete guess because this kid isn't talking.

Next year might be a little rough. When I say rough, I mean maybe 8 or 9 wins. If they lose 4 of their olinemen and QB, this will be a huge blow and could lead to many offensive growing pains.

A must win and a lucky win. I'm not a Brey hater, but two games in a row he got completely out coached. ken. and o$u made very good halftime adjustments and coaching decisions. Brey did not and got lucky as hell with this win. Djogo should never see another min. in an ND uniform, yet he continues to get decent minutes. No Sanders or Zona in the second half. Terrible decision.

I agree. There are many good pieces but young and need to learn how to play with each other. Ivy also needs to figure out a good rotation with them.

Book is not going to win the Heisman, However he just got some free airtime on prime time during the Clemson game where Fowler and HerbStreet Sung his praises. I think he will definitely be invited now. He may have even gotten a few more votes because of this interview while Lawrence is playing just because we know the Heisman is all about pub.

I will jump on. Kelly is not perfect, but what coaches is? He has Made adjustments and changes to the program when warranted. Since 2016 he has been great at surrounding himself with the right coaches.

It was rough to watch for sure. Durham was awful! Hopefully he picks it up. The ball movement and spacing on offense were awful! Often they had no plan on offense. I think these two things will get better as the year progresses. I saw some glimmers of hope with the 3 point shooting. This has not been good for the last two years. Brey teams have to be able to hit lights out from the perimeter. I think it will be better this year especially if they get the spacing and the movement on offense right. The place that will hurt them the most is on D. They are way too slow and not athletic enough on perimeter D. This will most likely plague them all year. Next year the additions of Wertz and Wesley will help tremendously.

I listened to Clemson fan whine about how their top def players were out as well as lawerence. Tonight Nd was without their starting center and guard. They were Without two top wrs and their best def player for most of the game. There was also a stretch where they were without both starting safeties. The defensive numbers were actually better without Hamilton. Take that b&$@hes! This team is for real. Next man in!!!

ND playing Fri. and Sun. without Brunelle, Vaughn, Raheem, Marshall, and Gilbert. Starters are Prohaska, Mabrey, Walker, Westbeld, and Peoples. Mabrey will be point. Hayes and Campbell off bench. Ivey says that Hayes will get a lot of time off bench at point.

O$U’s secondary got torched! ND can absolutely beat this O$U team.

Brey is finally putting together a backcourt that rivals the 2015 backcourt. Next year - Ryan, hubb, Wertz, Goodwin, Wesley, and carmody. This group is very versatile, athletic and and can shoot. Finally getting back to the recipe that got them to compete with and beat the big boys.

If book wants to come back next year, sign me up. I wasn’t necessarily in this camp at the beginning of the year, but I’ve seen enough now that I’m on board. Give Buchner a year to get his footing.

Great analysis. I will say early freshman tight end jitters cost nd the first two TDs in the red zone. He certainly stepped up later in the game, but I will argue it took him a quarter To get rid of the big game jitters.

Mooney was a good player, but I don't think he is going to be a huge loss. Durham and Nate look like they have added on some good weight. I look for them to more than make up for the Mooney loss this year. I look for this team to be a lot better than they have been the last couple of years. Losing the freshman Taylor for the year hurts the low post depth. The non conference schedule is absolutely brutal, but will hopefully be fun to watch. Ohio st., Michigan st., Purdue, Howard, Western Mich., Tennessee, and Kentucky. Add on to that home and home with Duke and Virginia. Wow! I don't know for sure, but I think there is a movement still ongoing to make all transfers eligible this year because of Covid. If that is the case then a backcourt of Trey, Dane, Prentis, and Cormack would be fantastic.

I listen to weekday sportsbeat. Last week someone (I don't remember exactly who) said that sources within the ND program have said that Xavier Watt has been the most impressive freshman in practice this year. Let that sink in for a minute. I want to see Watt get some reps.
