I am well aware of how things went down and I don't see where you could fault him. It wasn't him making calls out to NFL teams, they were calling him. You do know that when NFL comes calling most coaches listen? If the University felt threatened by this and offered him an extension, how is that his fault? According to you he should go out of his way and tell the mean, evil NFL teams to stop being interested in him? Come on, this is the real world.

Don't forget he went to back to back BCS games, and won the first bowl game for ND in how many years. Point is, he had his not so great moments, which I remember (and trust me I was mad and cussing all the while) but I can't over look some good ones to. In the end, it didn't work out for him and for that I say let it be. It was offered to him in his extension which was IMO was premaritally extended to him. Rocket, Can you just get a PO box in the states (or a friend to get you one) and have that as your address and get direct TV? Not that I would be one to break the rules... That would get you all you need, wouldn't it?

Here's an idea: Why not just have all 116 teams in a single conference and have a play off? I mean really, 15 teams in the PAC10 conference? Hell even with 2 divisions, you might only play some teams in your own conference once every 3-4 years. What's the point? Really dumb idea if you ask me, but then again nobody did...
