  1. Watched some of the other videos... Ishaq looks like a beast. Is he going to play with his hand down or OLB?
  2. The winter nights are long and cold in Canada, huh Rocket? I jest, very good work.
  3. BK on twitter says the following are in Grace, Daniels, G. Atkinson, and Hegarty all in
  4. I'm a little slow and it did take me a second, but damn funny!
  5. Am I missing the sarcasm here? "Tripple option just isn't working in the state of Georgia" - 9-4 and 11-3 in his first two years...not a rocket scientist but but I would have loved to marks like that at ND (or at the other major football institution in the state of Georgia). He had a down year as was stated because his QB was out. Don't make me pull up the marks he had an little old Navy over the last 7 years. Paul Johnson can flat out get it done. "(speaking about the option) we seem to have figured out how to stop it" -you mean by the defensive master piece we put up against Navy this year? I think the fullback is still gutting us up the middle for a gain of 9. We had a good outing against Air force but lets not get ahead of our selfs here.
  6. I believe my exact words before the play were "why the F#*k isn't Hughes in there?"
  7. Tell me more of this "touch pass" you speak of....
  8. Respectfully disagree Schell. Everyone of the guys that I mentioned were going to be a top draft picks worth big bucks but they still came back. If JC comes back, he gets one more year of tutelage from one of the best (if not the best) QB coaches in Pro or collage ball. Move up in the draft and maybe become the 1 over all. Just saying I think it's better then a coin flip that he comes back.
  9. McCoy, Tebow, Bradford, Leinart....really far fetched they would come back back too.
  10. Not knocking Reese here and agree that we need to give him a year or two in the system before we can comment on his true skills. That being said, he was here in the spring and although not a full year in the system could we say a better analogy then Montana in what you were looking for? I understand, ideally for what you were looking for, he would have had a full year in the system, but he did have spring game experience, and I would assume a 2/3 year start in HS. Maybe that other half year would have helped greatly...but i just don't see it. I agree with your comparison with Sharply. I was always high on him and wondered why he didn't play in the dismal season of '07. But if memory serves correctly, he was a Jr. that year. But had much more command over the offense then JC did. Just my take.
  11. I see your point. I guess IMO it was better then a coin flip he stays with CW but 0 without him. Regardless, if we have that line up the world does not look as bleak even if the injury bug hits. Just because its slow in the office today and I'm curious, do you think a 3 start caliber player with a year under his belt would made more of a difference on Saturday? Just wondering.
  12. It wasn't Weis style to go after lesser talent at QB. He had his targets and if he didn't get them he moved on. But to a much lesser extent, Montana was "the project", all be it not a 3 star, but a walk on when he came 2 years ago. Same concept I guess. In the greater scheme of things, IF CW were to have been retained, JC most likely would have stayed. That would leave us with JC and DC backing him up and then 2 (4 star) FR. as our 3rd string. The world doesn't look as bleak if your running with that line up this year.
  13. kinda off topic but... Did anyone notice that all the backup QB's (and only the QB's) were wearing Red hats on the side line for the game. Any idea as to why?
  14. Seriously guys, enough with the facebook postings. It's getting creepy.
  15. or 3. we took what the D gave us. They were for the most part bracketing Floyd over and under. That allowed Rudolph to have his way underneath. The kid had like 70-80 yards receiving. Not a bad day for an opener with a new coach, new system, new QB...hell new just about everything. I personally hope that we were a little vanilla this week and didn't use all of the playbook, but only time will tell.
  16. I didn't know his ACT's but I always heard he had in the high 3's GPA.
  17. Just watched the game again today...The big thing i noticed was Crist pulling the ball down and running almost too quickly.
  18. Green and Gold jersey on, Keg a chilly 42 degrees, i've taken my place on the sofa...Game day is on and we are only a few hours away...I am JACKED UP!
  19. I may or may not have put too much sugar into my last batch of home brew. The bottles may or may not exploded like repeating shotgun blasts in my kitchen, shooting shards of glass 10 plus feet. It may or may not have freaked me out so much that my wife wrapped me up in every blanket, comforter, and sheet we owned along with the biggest pot to try to dispose of the "hand grenades". If that were to happen, I know I would have looked like a make shift explosive expert holding a pot only to find that the last of the bottles had exploded. One thing I can tell you is if you ever find yourself in this situation, do not call the cops as the beer grenades are going off to ask for help. More importantly, do not let them pass the phone around to everyone in the precinct retelling why you need help as they laugh uncontrollably.
  20. Saw this and had to pass it along....PG13 rating. http://ncaabbs.com/showthread.php?tid=445801&pid=5612246
  21. Too many hands in the honey pot. I think that was one of the biggest problems on D. Over all last year we didn't have ~that~ bad of a season. One "correct" calls by the refs in the MU game and I think we win. If JC doesn't bounce one off of floyds back inside the 5 (navy game) and get a pick we win that one. that's 8-4 on just two plays. You look at the last 3 games we lost by a total of 15 points.
