Just a question. We clearly loss the season. Bowl games are crap nowadays. Bench Sam and roll with our future STEVE

What doesn’t help is five penalties on Notre Dame that ended up being huge, versus zero for Clemson!

Did I hear that right at the end of the game? They said the last time Clemson went without a single penalty was 1952.

I didn’t hear that, but if true, unreal!

And I like to blame officiating, especially when it’s ACC, which really do seem to hate Notre Dame! Like, that one OPI on Greathouse was maddening and total bull!

It’s what happens when you hire a head coach who has never been a head coach. 
It’s what happens when you hire a guy like Gerard to be your OC. 
 

Freeman really might be an amazing head coach in two more years. That would be the right time for ND to hire a guy like him. Four years into a head coaching career.

Freeman is a fine coach right now. He is still learning (but so is Saban). 

MF has just about everything going for him outside of making a huge mistake on OC last year. ND is likely going to be replacing Golden this offseason, and hopefully MF re-evaluates the OC position (though, I am not sure about Parker's contract....so maybe he goes with an offensive consultant).

Even with Hartman at QB, this team is probably undefeated with a OC that isn't a compete mess.
