We've seen it from Chis. We know he clocks in or around 4.35 or so. Yet he averages 4.4 yards a carry and 5.8 yards per catch.

In one sense the 5.8 yards a catch says yes put him in the slot. Tyree had 124 touches last year. 100 rushes and 24 catches for 582 total yards

Then you look at Jayden Thomas' numbers 25 catches for 361. 14.4  yards a catch

Styles also averaged 11 yards a catch on 30 catches

Not to Mention Merriweather and Colzie who way higher averages on much fewer catches

We lose 1118 yards and 91 catches from Mayer and Lenzy

My gut is there will be so many more pass attempts that even with Tyree at slot there will be plenty of footballs to go around.

Tyree must play, and Freeman even said so in his presser.  I really do feel this will be en emphasis for Parker now that he’s the OC.  Here’s to hoping anyway.  🤞🏼

I think Tyree makes the offense more dynamic if he is in the slot. His ypc is misleading, I seem to recall most passes to him were near or behind the line of scrimmage. I don't remember too many downfield passes his direction.

My vote is for Jayden Thomas to be the leading receiver this season, but really the ball will probably be spread around more or less equally, unless/until one of the receivers breaks out.

Have to get him on the field and he just isn't good enough in our RB room (who would have thought that when he signed as a Top 50 recruit?). Diggs, Estime, and Price are all better. Need to get Tyree in space. It seems like he is having issues in spring ball, but he just made the move - so need to give him some time to figure it out. But speed kills - it's on the coaches to get him in a position to use it.

All of a sudden there is a little bit more room in the backfield.  I don't care where he lines up at the snap of the ball but he needs to be out there.
