Apparently there is an appeal process for this. I heard on the news that a similar situation happened not too long ago and the team won the appeal.

 

Personally I don't care about the name and don't follow the team anyhow(or the NFL). I do find it disturbing when the Feds are trying to regulate everything PC related. Meanwhile the economy is still pretty poor, our infrastructure needs massive overhauls and repair, the immigration storm that's brewing from Central America, etc etc. Put let's put all that on hold to sort this mess out.
