beyond extreme athleticism, is between the ears. Book has it and Brandon doesn’t. Watching Book simply dump it off to a RB was eye opening to what I’m used to watching. Love Wimbush but he’s prone to getting the yips.

Speedy's shaking down the thunder! I'm shining the ol' ban hammer currently. It's been too long. Where's Fanatic when you need him? Yeah, I'm all about open communication but lets keep all of the political stuff in the Open forum. We need one reprieve from politics in this world and it should be college football. Let's try to get back to 2019 Recruiting Prospects, please. If you want to complain about the same thing we've all known for the last 20 years to be the case, please write your complaint down on a piece of paper, place it into a stamped envelope, and then send it to Schell. Reading criticisms in every thread is nauseating. Truth is, ND will never get over the big game hump unless they recruit well so we should all be for it, even if we feel talent is sometimes squandered. Can you imagine if ND "squandered" lesser talent?

This game, despite the recent seasonal collapses, has definitely brought us unmeasurable joy. My 13 year-old daughter responded to a classmate who had left an "ND sucks" comment below her Instagram picture of herself all decked out in ND gear for her middle school's spirit day with a simple, "31-0" retort followed by a series of poop emojis. Proud dad, I tell ya. Proud dad. And it's all due to this game. Thank you, Brady Hoke.

I work for a politician who just ran for re-election so I was busy all fall with that. Now I’m working for the politician who won the election so I’m kind of in-between at work trying to learn the new admin and how they work. Basically, I feel like that really full feeling you get after eating at Waffle House, 24/7. Mix in a move and new GF and you get reduced online surfing time.

Going to leave this thread here in General. Jack Swarbrick decides our leaders for athletics and that includes football so it’s relevent. I think it’s perfectly fair to question his involvement (if any) in this.

At this point, what does hiring Jeff Quinn matter? Best offensive line coach and line in college football and getting steamrolled by Miami and then Stanford? Is this what we aspire to? I like Harry a lot. I'm just saying, besides the paper output, what does it truly matter if we continue to get steamrolled by opponents and knocked out of the playoff picture convincingly? My take is... it doesn't matter. And if we ever want a new head coach, we'll have to weather a truly miserable season. Perhaps this is the beginning of that.

I think Rees will come down to the field to help a struggling QB get through it. In this case, BW initially and then Ian. Somebody needs to be a voice of reason on the sideline. A "you can do it," voice. Maybe Shotgun found his role?
