@Mike is the new owner of DD. He's been reading our threads to kind of get a feel for our community and to assess our current state so he probably already knows all of our warts. lol. Anyways, no big changes planned. He aims to keep DD's feel the same as it is while making DD a better mobile experience. Just wanted to fill you in as I'm sure Mike will be stopping by to say hello sometime soon and fill you in with any other pertinent details.

Just an FYI. I haven’t spoken to new ownership yet nor do I have any specifics other than DD has been sold and to expect somebody to reach out. As always, I will keep everyone in the loop. Nix’s mother just confirmed that Louis has passed away. Very sad day. Just awful. **the “located” excerpt was taken directly off the police page where the original bolo was released to the public. That’s all they stated.

Louis Nix has been located according to detectives.

Cripes. They just pulled a silver Hyundai out of the pond at the apartment complex Louis lived at. This was shortly after detectives went to his mother's house and spoke with her. A scream was allegedly heard coming from the house during this time. Ugh.

Guys and gals, we've got nothing to lose! We suck and are going to be destroyed. Deadspin says we'll be turned to "plasma." Having said that, it takes a lot of pressure off. We should be pulling it all out for this game. I'm not nervous. They've already established the outcome of this game. Everything else is gravy. It's time to release the #TommyGun and bring back quick passes, inside screens, TE seam routes, and tons of misdirection.

I was at that game as well. My very first ND game, sitting in the south end zone in my grandfather's row of seats he had held onto since the late 40s. I still vividly recall the emotional letdown after that FG sailed through the uprights. I was also at the 2005 USC game under the lights. Ugh. I went to many games in between and afterward but these two games stick out to me as being the worse thing to live though as an ND fan. Complete emotional deflation walking out of the stadium.

Campbell only wants the OSU or ND job. He said so the other day. He's waiting for either...

Who's got $3.2k laying around? Ownership wants to give us first dibs on buying DD. IE would cost around $20k. DD makes around $795 a year on ad sales. Not sure on IE but I would imagine it makes a lot more given the initial purchasing cost. If there are any serious/interested buyers out there, please shoot me a message. I've been told this should not affect our day-to-day but it'd be nice if we had a passionate fan who owned DD verses some random person off Flippa. Thank you. -Gabe/"DJ"

Hot damn, Echo. Are you that guy from Tremors? lol. What do you think about hidden caches? I've always thought about keeping one at or near my parents rural lake house who live in the middle of a forrest on Huron in case shet hits the fan.

It's ten days of isolation not quarantine--I know, splitting hairs. And then it's additional days post symptoms (which could be after ten days) plus another day after the isolated ten days of having normal temp. Either way, it's right on the cusp if his "mild symptoms" are gone on or before November 6th. So nothing really is clear or guaranteed.

Trevor Lawrence just tested positive for COVID-19. Not sure what this means for the ND game but more importably, just hoping he'll be okay. He'll miss the BC game this weekend as he has to isolate for at least 10 days. The game with ND is 9 days away. It's hard to compare because you have BK notoriously keeping the playbook to a minimum--doing enough to win but not showing too much. Toss sweeps, 3 TE sets, misdirection, QB under-center, heavier dose of run-game, short passing game and minimal downfield passing..etc. -- all of which were not present against Duke and some of these wrinkles weren't present against USF. So how do you know? How does anyone know? Not a huge fan of this, personally, as I think the team needs to perfect all these elements together well-in-advance in order to play a complete game against teams like Clemson and OSU.
