How Hartman Checkmated Buchner

Hartman makes quick pre-snap  reads, is decisive, and is accurate

 

Receivers get rocked on 3rd and short slants over the middle, Not if you read it as quick as Sam can. Footballs out on time and on target, receiver doesn't get rocked.

 

Man to man. you use longer routes like the corner because DBs like to go straight back the more changes of direction its harder to match the receiver's footwork. Sam sees pre-snap, knows which route will beat it and gets the ball to the corner route.

 

I've heard this Argument that goes Freeman by pursuing Hartman Gambles everything on 2023. I have to say I'd rather have this one real chance then 2 mediocre chances. This is what Real QB play looks like, , the kind that wins in the NFL looks like.

I saw Book and Buchner running that football, making the occasional vertical read. But this is QB play. I want more of this. Gino, let Hartman rub off on the rest, Please also let the days of recruiting mobile QBs with long releases be over with. The QB needs to throw it, first and foremost.

 

Buchner saw it on Saturday got checkmated and stood up from the table. Whether he sits back down for a rematch or looks for another game elsewhere remains to be seen. Great tweets from Greg of IrishSportsDaily.

It would not be hard to beat out a guy who throws the football like a divorced mother of 3 from Granger. 

That being said, Tyler Buchner was miserable on the field, so who even cares. 

He Knows he is going to get beat out, so he is immediately leaving (But also leaving room to maybe come back, if the rest of D1 wont give him a starting gig, lol what a tool). 

What a failed and over hyped trash QB.  And the poor ND fans still think he was going to be some D1 QB phenom, ha

Why not? we are invested in these players and want them to do well for 40 years, not just 4. He's not terrible either. Ask Alabama or South Carolina.  Just not a fit for ND's offense if its set up for a pocket passer.

Billions of people have done well for themselves without a degree from ND.    Who cares?  He is the worst QB on Alabama.
