Trophy games are such an underrated part of college football.  Seriously.  Love them.  Loved winning them in NCAA Football on the XBox growing up as a kid.

Agreed.  Speaking of trophies.  During the Navy post game coverage when Hartman made is infamous "King of Ireland" comment, is that shillelagh  supposed to be the new Navy rivalry trophy of is it just a team trophy for players to nominate each other?

This game is a disappointment on many levels. First home game and a FCS school? WTF? This become a reason for every Power 5 conference to take shots at how we have prided ourselves as an elite independent that schedules top teams and doesn’t do the patsie scheduling of SEC, BIG etc. Besides Clemson and FSU (maybe) we already have criticism for our ACC association. No betting line tells it all. So sad. But a side note is that when the playoff number grows, we do what everyone else does and so what?

Woke up way too early to throw a pork butt in the smoker that is taking a lot longer than I anticipated. Starting to get side eye glances from the wife asking if the pulled pork will be ready for when we told people to come over. Sounds like a reason to start cracking some open and filling up on liquid
