I watched him play in the state semis last weekend.  He was playing against a very good DL and was pushing guys around quite a bit.  Had a few impressive pancakes as well

Why are we still visiting 2023 signees?  If in the neighbourhood why not but just seems strange to me.   I guess with his late signing maybe Freeman did not do an in home previously?

That would be my guess.  As far as optics go, I'd say its a big props to Freeman coming even after you have the recruit signed.

Because the coaches care about the players they recruited and have decided to join the team... 🤔

Also cannot hurt with recruiting future prospects since families and coaches do talk to each other. 

With WR Coach Stuckey there, makes me think that 2024 WR commit Cam Williams who lives relatively close to Chris Terek may have been the main reason for the trip to the Chicago suburbs.

Yes, Tarek and Cam Williams are in the same town and both about 40 minutes away from Justin Scott.  Sounds like they planned to visit Scott and Cam and wanted to pop by to visit Tarek right before or after Cam's basketball game.
