Look into Kodi TV. Live TV, sports, movies. Everything you wished you could find that Google couldn't offer.

 

Be careful with Kodi TV. A lot of people who buy the "loaded" Amazon Fire Stick don't realize or ignore the fact that the majority of "channels" that stream live sporting events or recent movies do so illegally. I am not sure there is a lot of prosecution against the end user right now, but I imagine a lot of the channels disappear frequently.

 

I use OSMC (A Kodi port) at home on a Raspberry Pi with a HDHomeRun prime and some other stuff in place of a cable box at home, it is really a hassle to set up. In the end unless you enjoy that kind of complex setup it wasn't worth the hassle. Especially when your wife straight up says "Get a cable box, I am not using this."
