Guys, this is more than just a rumor. It is a legit possibility. It is just too bad that this is getting out since it could create problems for ND if it is found that they are talking to the kid while enrolled at FSU. Jordan is very unhappy at FSU. There are other factors involved but we will leave it at that for now. But Jordan Prestwood IS the "secret recruit". This is not over and he is by no means a guarantee to come to ND.

Might want to avoid Iowa's "pharmacist" as 12 Iowa football players are hospitalized with kidney condition.

We look pretty good as we close in on the finish line. I feel good that we will hang onto what we have.

Premium sites have said that he has legit interest in ND. Over the top to say we would be lucky to get a visit and that it is just a dream. It's been a long time but the tides are finally turning in our favor fellas. It sure seems like the elite kids are starting to notice that too. Stay positive.

It has been stated many times on the premium sites by the mods there that ND was not pursuing Perryman heavily because he did not fit the mold for the size they want in their LB's.

I'm not fully moving onto 2012 yet but "My Guy" for 2012 is RB Keith Marshall. Holy crap, this kid can fly. Rivals just put up a new video of him and I was floored by his speed and moves. I've seen prior videos of him but his 9 minute video was ridiculous. I can't imagine how incredibly dangergous this kid would be in the spread. If anyone is an II member, be sure to take a look at his video, it's pinned at the top of the board. I am pretty sure it is a brand new video since I could not find the same video on Youtube.

Thanks but I don't see that. Mike Frank is extremely straight forward. This is recruiting and involves teenagers, kids change their minds. Mike Frank was negative on the odds of landing Aaron Lynch, it works both ways.

I assume that you mean Mike Farrell from Rivals. Mike Frank is extremely good.

FYI, Kelly is on his way to meet with Huggins. This has not been reported yet so please keep this news off the other boards. As always I think we should always keep our news/rumors here and never take the news/rumors to the boards of other sites.

I hear ya TC but it's not like we struck out at safety like we have been doing for years. We still did decent at safety and especially the DB's as a whole. I'm real high on Okotcha. I think he is going to be damn good. I also really like Josh Atkinson and Hardy. I look at this recruiting haul overall, especially the Defense and I think it is better than I ever could have imagined going into this recruiting season. Add in how the season was looking halfway through. Incredible job by our staff.

Thanks for the info 11. Welcome to the DD. I think we need to once again dominate Chicago area recruiting. Chicago is the closest thing we have to local recruiting for ND, in regard to a major location.

It's down to Huggins, Niklas and Haynes. ND still wants Niklas and is recruiting him as a DE. Many people want to say we are out with Huggins but not the case. Are we the favorite? I would say we are not the favortie. But we are definitely still in this race. It's not like Huggins has said anything. One rumor has us in his final 3 with UNC & Rutgers. This is supposedly from Savon's father. Haynes is still a possibility but I think his recruitment comes down to whether we have room. IMO, I think he wants to come to ND but staff told him to wait due to the limited openings so they can see how the remaining guys play out. That is why I think he delayed his announcement. Again, just my opinion. I think the ship has sailed on Shuler. And I have read multiple places that we are not going after Fisher. Don't forget we still need to recruit our committed recruits, especially Rabasa and Tuitt. Miami is trying to get in on Rabasa. This is an amazing recruiting class. I personally think it is even better than the rankings have us. They have hit our need positions big time. The only lagging area was 1 more RB, more of an all purpose guy. A Huggins type. I fully expect our staff to go full throttle on Huggins.

There is no one better than Chiro at going back in the "way-back machine" to revive an old thread. Well done Chiro, you never let me down. Although you have done better in the past by going back much further in time. But this one will do. Personally, I think that it comes down to Hounshell or Niklas. I see us landing one of them but not both. IMO, odds favor Hounshell. There are rumblings that Hounshell may be moving up his announcement to early this coming week. But just rumblings. I'd like either one but I think they are pretty equal therefore I would choose Hounshell. I like the idea of building on that Ohio pipeline that Kelly and crew has done.

I think that there is no way that is Aaron Lynch in the snow angel picture. Besides, in my mind, Aaron Lynch would never wear mittens.

Shembo and Rabasa are exceptional pass rushers and need to stay on the outside. You can't have enough quality pass rushers. IMO, Rabasa is a very underrated recruit in this class.

I would like to land the elite recruits from Chicago. IMO, it is important for ND to own Chicago when it comes to recruiting.
