If you don't care why are you here commenting on it? Kelly cannot recruit and keep 5 star talent. He has proven this. For every 5 star he has actually kept on campus how many have committed and than decomitted, or transferred once here. Its a major issue. Every year we loose our best commits or highest targets. Now every program deals with decommits and transfers. It just seems its always the best players at ND. Not the scrubs that are moving on for more playing time at a school with less competition.

So if ND gets in this year can we stop all the "ND needs to join a conference" talk. I didn't ever think I would live through a time where ND fans were actually in favor of joining a conference. I will never be for joining a conference unless ND creates its own and grabs all the other historically successful teams to join it.

Most likely if they signed a deal tomorrow the games wouldn't be for 5 - 6 years and thats at the earliest. So we are still looking at a good 7- 10 year span of not playing them. I have no problem fitting them on the schedule every couple of years, but there are other teams I think we should play too rather than a continuous series with Michigan.

I have the Showtime app. If you have the money to spare I'd say it's worth it. I also like a few the shows they have and like watching movies. I wouldn't get it just for the ND show, though.

Does anyone have a quote of Kelly saying that he's going to be calling plays? I've looked every where and I can't find one. The only thing I've seen is Kelly saying its going to be by committee, with Sanford upstairs. That tells me he's probably going to be calling the plays with Kelly having veto power if he chooses and Kelly/Denbrock giving the play to the red hat squad to send in.

Big difference between us watching the government and the government watching everything the citizens do. One works in a democracy and the other doesn't. Can you figure out which one? In a democracy the citizens must know what the government agencies are doing in order to keep them in check. Our constitution is what is supposed to keep the government out of our everyday lives. I shouldn't have to explain this to grown adults who have taken a civics class. The ND Police are an acting agency of our govt who's job it is to protect the citizens and are not above reproach in any situation except in protecting the rights of those citizens. As citizens we have a right to know if they are doing their job correctly and hold them accountable if they are not. The only way they do not fall under those circumstances is if they are a private security team, which there are still certain laws they would have to follow, but they would not have the right to sight you for a crime in that situation. They could only force you from campus and/or inform the real police.

All though I understand your reasoning, I disagree. The press absolutely should have the right to any and all public records. If you have done nothing wrong there is nothing to hide. Unless you are hiding something to protect the victim ALL Police records should be open to the public. There is absolutely no reason to hide anything but in the case of protecting the victim.

If the only way you know how to have fun is drinking alcohol than you my friend have a problem. I haven't had a drink in over 6 years and I have fun everyday all day.
