Thanks as usual Big! Yes, seems like the board is already very expansive and likely to grow a bit before it settles out.

I appreciate the efforts to improve the site, but I don't prefer the latest layout. The one right before this - with tabs for football, recruiting, etc. at the top was great. Now there is too much to scroll through at the top. Ads work for me, and I agree they work well to keep the site going.

I bet every other potential on the board is likely going to have a buyout as well unless we find someone who is not working right now.

On the flip side, Utah put 42 on Stanford, while we put up 14. They also scored over 40 on USC twice.

My question mark with Ludwig is how good of a passing game he can drum up. It is hard for me to project how he'd do with someone like Hartman vs what he did with Cam Rising. In fairness, I only saw 2 Utes games this year.

Wow - Cali throwing out the Sir John reference! That is about as far back as I go, too. I agree with comments about no ads if someone donates, but I wouldn't go much further than that. Agree with just about everything Wave said about simplicity and why people come here now. Changing that up changes the delivery model and starts to get you into the same zone as other pay sites with people running them as a full-time job with real inside sources. This place now is great where a lot of knowledgeable posters who listen to podcasts, etc. bring that perspective here. If there is a pay option, I'd either pay on another board or stick with YouTube content.

This makes me think of Driskel's comment about names we hear are likely generated by the candidate's camp. Yes, rumors out there he's flying to SB can bump his name up there for the other NFL OC openings

I like the idea of Gattis. He likes fast players in space, so some of our recruitsike Love and little Caleb Smith fit that bill

Good thing we're past NSD for '23. This would definitely risk Carr and others from the '24 class if he were to leave unless Freeman could land some heavy hitter who can quickly rebuild a relationship.

To me, the bigger impact is on our top 2 LB recruits. Both raved about him and Pierce talked about how he basically spent the whole weekend on his last visit with him.

This is a really good outcome for ND hoops. Sounds like Swarbrick is open to retaining him in the program in some capacity if Brey chooses, and otherwise Brey gets to leave on his own terms. It will be exciting to see who they get and hopefully this infuses more energy into the program.

Yes, Tarek and Cam Williams are in the same town and both about 40 minutes away from Justin Scott. Sounds like they planned to visit Scott and Cam and wanted to pop by to visit Tarek right before or after Cam's basketball game.

Agree on this. The issue at DL is there are really no impact DL remaining at this point that are interested in ND. Mostly depth players. We may go after 1 of those types and hope younger guys on the roster blow up in the spring.

So with Hartman committing, we are now ar 94. It sounds like we are looking to add 1-2 more. So based on this thread, it sounds like we have to attrit 9 to potentially 11 guys by this August (2023)?

Younger ND TEs starting to shine in the NFL now. Brock Wright, Tommy Tremble and Cole Kmet all scored early TDs today and Wright just caught a 2nd.

I am so jacked to see our offense next year. Imagine a healthy Price with Love joining Diggs and Estime, plus upgrades at WR coming in. Plus either a stud transfer QB or a better Buchner who beat everyone out. Definitely our O is better with Buchner than Pyne, even with the mistakes.

This is a smart move by Hartman. In addition to his measurable, he's played in that weird system with the long mesh points. I'm sure he's gotten feedback that scouts want to see him un a different offense to prove he's not just a system QB

I think Gray might wind up being my favorite player in this class. I heard he's a big time jokester with a huge personality. I love having players like that who can ball out.

On this recruitment, I'm not going to believe anything more until he actually signs. Then I probably won't believe it until he actually gets on campus. Too many rumors, commitments made and then broken to believe any scuttlebutt on the street.
