We are literally limping into this game. Our receivers aren’t great at getting much separation and now Collins isn’t at 100%. Both sides of our line are beat to hell. That spread may not be high enough! OSU has 14 five star guys on their roster. We have one. As I said prior, I never doubt our heart and our fight, but at some point you need the players to compete at the highest level. I just wish this game was being played with both teams at full strength. I would like our chances. Where we stand now, this would be a monumental upset. Just keeping it objective.

I think I called the closeness of the psu game and not to underestimate them. It was a very close game and we started out flat as I said was one of my fears. Our lack of players due to injury made the game very close and we lost another o lineman in the game as well. My fear in this game is do we have enough horses left to withstand the talent that OSU has on both sides of the ball. We have overcome it so far, but at some point you need to have talent to win vs a talented team. I don’t know if we have enough left in the tank. I don’t doubt our heart. I just don’t know if we have the players left to match the level they are on right now. I know we keep saying next man up and our team will rally, but objectively, at some point, you gotta have the horses to compete. I just don’t know if we have enough left to stay with them. I hope they have one more game to dig down and get it done.

If osu plays like they have been playing, no one including us will touch them. I hate them passionately but I can be objective when it comes to the talent they have. Now that being said, they have shown that they don’t play up to their ability or skill level, and if we catch them on one of those nights then I think we can win. But, IMO, we will have to play great and they will need to have a subpar night. And I am basing this on our current health and injury status. If we were at full strength I would have a different opinion.

I have so much emotion right now and I’ll have more to say tomorrow but all I can say now is how happy I am for all of the true fans and the players and staff! Absolutely amazing! So proud of this team!

I am not underestimating PSU. I think they pose some real challenges for us. This game will be tougher than Georgia because of injuries, short turnaround time, and the difficulty in getting the team ready emotionally after a huge win a week ago. It is always tough for college kids in this area. Think about the letdown from the A&M game to the NIU game. That emotional swing is real and we will really need to overcome that. This is going to be a very close and tense game.

Just want us to play our best. If we do that I believe we are better than psu. Win the turnover battle and we win the game.

If we were healthy I think we beat them by 13. However, I’m really nervous that this is the game that our injuries finally catch up to us. Plus the fact that we were so pumped and ready to play vs Georgia I am scared we will have an emotional letdown as well. We have two less days to prepare and to rest up. There are just a lot of things we have to overcome in this matchup. This team has shown so much resiliency all year I really hope they can do it once again. It’s a lot to expect and I will be pulling hard for them to get it done.
