    Definently defensive end IMO. We brought in 3 DE's in last years class, but two of them are more of a DT/DE hybrid (Johnson/Cwynar) and KLM is the only one not in that mold. We don't have any DE's committed in this class and we don't run the 3-4 exclusively in every game so I think it's important to pull out a couple out of the remaining guys on our board (LaLota, Roh, Bonds, Inkard.)

    I agree with Ziggy that we'll land LaLota this weekend. I see Banks choosing us in the end although that may not be this weekend. I see Watt going to O$U and Mike Jones getting his official offer when he visits and committing.

    After this season Bruton will have no eligibility left remaining. The only people I can fathum getting a 5th year granted is McCarthy, Schwapp, and MAYBE Sharpley.

    I think we can calm down with the John Ryan bashing. Considering he's built for more of a rush defensive end and we had him standing up most of the time. Oh and also he was only a So. while playing out of position IMO. As you can see as he's getting older and more talent has arrived behind him it has allowed the coaching staff to move him back to defensive end. He's getting over last years injuries and will be ready for fall camp as a true Jr. Relax people.

    It is very conceivable that Riddick is gonna end being recruited as an athlete to ND. Keep 'em coming! Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the entire reason why he didn't consider Rutgers? He doesn't want to play defense. Also, you would be wasting his skills if you tried sticking him at WR because he doesn't prosper there. As of right now the staff has only mentioned RB to him and I don't think they'd pull a Meyer on him.

    I'm not saying he won't have a good season and I really think we need him to compliment Hughes in order to win those close games, but I'm just saying he's MO is his speed and I haven't seen anything spectacular to keep that label. Golden Tate seems to be alot faster just going in motion on fake end arounds.

    AA showed me a little more than he did last year, but he still didn't have a run over 15 yards and hasn't. I'll beleive it when I see it. I've never seen his top end speed on a football field on the college level.

    I don't know if he'd be open for position change. Rutgers is recruiting him for CB and basically he's not considering them because of it.
