Is it safe to assume we won't see him on the field again? I saw that Adams getting a scholly yesterday put us at the 85-limit. I remember reading an article previously where his dad (or Ishaq) had said he would practice and do whatever he could to help the team, whether on a scholly or not. Well, now the NCAA hasn't cleared him and yet he still isn't practicing though Russell is. What I am trying to say is I don't have a clue what to make of this situation. Does anyone here?

My biggest issue is that BK said at his presser 3 weeks ago that the investigation was complete and they expected everything to move quickly now. Well, it hasn't, which highlights the lack of communication b/t the Administration and the AD/Head Coach. Would this happen at other schools? Highly doubt it. Does ND need to take the high road? Not when the future of some student athletes is being held in jeopardy. If they cheated, fine, boot them. But if they didn't and they purposely took their time in rendering a decision, shame on the Administration.

Anyone have an update on Kiel? I would assume if he is enrolling in the next few weeks a decision would be coming. I haven't heard a peep since his visit.

LaSalle Grille downtown is the bomb. We eat on the top floor where they have live music. The NBC crew goes there after every game. Talked with Alex Flanagan for a few minutes there last year. She's probably 6'1" and has 4 kids. And she still has her fastball.....

No, but those corporate contracts that Blackberry/RIM had everyone sign does just fine paying the bills. It's much more lucrative to have an entire corporation guaranteed to use your phone than your average Tom, Dick, and Harry who goes to the mall to pick out a phone. Plus, a lot of IT groups don't want to support Iphone and Droid. RIM definitely needs to come up with a better option than what they have b/c when those contracts expire, corporations will shop around, but for now, they are fine. As far as Peat goes, we gotta lock that kid up. Definitely can't lose him to UoM. They are getting it done.

Allegedly, he is the perfect fit as a tackle, for the spread offense. As they always say, where there is smoke there is fire....this has been rumored for months. Glad it came to fruition.

For as bad as CW was as a head coach. I want to list three things for you all: 1.) He proved you could still recruit elite talent to ND. Willingham was a joke and it looked like 3 stars was the norm for us. Not under Weis. Granted, the majority of his studs were on the offensive side of the ball, BUT he got it going again. 2.) The Res Life thing. He publicly called them out as the #1 issue with ND while he was the head coach. Don't think for a second that his comments had nothing to do with what we are seeing now. 3.) Early entry freshman. that was all Weis.

I am sure the Stanford folks say the same things about us. Not so sure we can be so quick to point out that we believe we are better than them. A few months ago they embarassed us on our home field. I'm just saying....
