  1. I'm still working on figuring out what the errors being spit out by the Chatbox are, and if they can cause any issues with the site. But assuming I can get this issue resolved (hopefully in the coming week), or there is no risk of harm to the site, would you prefer to switch back to the Chatbox or would you be fine with using Megathreads? My biased preference would be to use Megathreads, for multiple reasons. The most obvious one, in full transparency, is that since Game Days will result in the most pageviews, it should help earn a little more in ad revenue to go towards site costs. It's easier to follow-along, and this software makes it pretty easy to load additional posts as they come in, and catch up. But I can respect some might like the real-time flow. It would also result in less site-bloat since I could remove an unofficial 3rd party plugin. And thirdly, it would be easier for moderators to feature Gameday (and other) threads in the fluid view where all forums all merged in this layout. Chatbox is something that I can enable manually. Whichever you all vote, I'll to my best to make happen, since I know the Game Day experience is extremely important. P.S.
  2. Having issues with the chatbox where it's reporting errors in the backend during game day that I wasn't aware of, so I had to disable it temporarily while trying to figure out what the issue is. So featuring the game day thread in the meantime
  3. Was it a video / post posted on the forums that's gone? Or something else? I haven't seen a video on the page, maybe it didn't go through? But if you have more info, I can take a look.
  4. It's over and he's had a warning. If we need to issue another, it will be a loss of posting privileges for a set amount of time -- 24 hours to a week (TBD). Same rules for everyone on the board. I just want to tighten up the main discussions boards and keep that off of here, as no good comes from it. As long as it doesn't happen again, nothing to worry about going forward. Also a reminder to anyone, there's a way to easily ignore posts from members on the board. You can hover over their profile picture & ignore, or go to Account > Ignore Users on the menu. https://www.domerdomain.com/forum/ignore/
  5. This is turning into a GIF thread... I'll approve it! 🔥
  6. Say what you will about the coaching staff, but personal attacks against other members like that are not going to fly. You've had a warning in the past, and this is the last one before posting privelages are affected. You can get away with this is the tinder box forum, but keep it out of the general discussion.
  7. That's one of my most vivid memories in college football. And I was right there with you about being pissed about it. One of the most BS turning a blind eye non-calls I can remember.
  8. Can the answer to both be Yes? 😆
  9. A few upgrades / updates on the Domer Domain forums Finished: Created a custom toolbar / editor for dark mode so it's easier to read and see the buttons in dark mode. It's not as clean as the light mode version, but it's much better than it was before. In-Progress / Finished: The forums started to exceed my allotted resources with my host, so I had to upgrade to a more expensive plan to avoid any downtime. As we're on a different server now (Same Host -- just moved from Shared to Cloud Hosting), there is a chance that some recent posts may be lost. I don't expect to lose anything as the transfer is now finished, but the hosting provider did mention users may resolve to the old DNS occasionally for the next 24 - 48 hours. Again, I don't expect much if anything not to transfer over, but I wanted to let you all know. To-Be-Determined: In working with the Forum developers, there looks to be a conflict with the Chat where errors keep on getting logged. I haven't seen it resulting in any issues on the site, but I have disabled it temporarily. We may need consider giving a gameday thread this week while I look into it. -------------------------------------------------- Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, feedback, etc!
  10. Yup, it's the little box all the way to the right. I need to figure out how to clean up the text editor on dark mode, but if you touch that hard to see box next to the search icon, the gif window should load
  11. Can you double check? It should still appear, but it's harder to see in dark mode. If it's not there, I'll take a dive into it. Thanks!
  12. (There's a GIF button on the toolbar to make adding Gifs easy). I'll start It's a bye week. Have fun.
  13. Should've ended with that.
  14. @NDFootballGuy, I don't mind you plugging the podcast, but please be active outside of just posting when a new episode goes live. Thanks.
  15. Hopefully Tommy Tremble as well since he caught one today ?
  16. Thanks for the detailed breakdown, Faith!
  17. I haven't come across that feature, but I'll look into it. If it's an option in the default settings, I'll consider doing something like that, but if there is a paid add-on for it, I probably would. But I like the idea. Thanks as always, for sharing.
  18. And Panthers #1 Tight End (Dan Arnold) was traded today to the Jaguars. The Tremble era is officially underway! Huzzah!!
  19. For members, 10 was the default number of reactions per day on the software. I wasn't aware of the limit and it didn't come up until now. I just doubled it to 20 per day for members, 100 per day for moderators, and made it unlimited for VIP supporters. Thanks for bringing it up.
