Jason Garrett grew on me over the season.  When they announced him for last season I was very skeptical.  He is not an ND fanatic but he does have a positive attitude in his announcing.  Collinsworth? Meh.  I get it though.  He's decent and certainly has an ND connection.

Really going to be interesting seeing what happens in the NBC contract negotiations.  ND currently makes $22 million per year from the NBC contract, which expires at the end of 2024.  NBC now has the Big 10 deal, which will pay every team about $90 million per year.  Every. Team.  So, hmmmm.  ND has to perform better this year than last just to keep interested parties at the negotiating table.  Even if they negotiate $60 million per year, they'd be falling $30 million per year behind Northwestern and Indiana and Purdue, not to mention the big dogs in that league.
