The Role I saw SR Kaleb Smith who medically retired playing was slot. People might say well Faith, Thomas plays slot, Tyree plays slot. Well I'm telling you Thomas has a quality back-up and Tyree is a catch and go slot. Where Thomas and  Greathouse are go and catch slots. Its great to have a young man like this already schooled in Texas High School Football. @Big23Head, I believe you were telling me about this guy and you were right. Never have enough good, disciplined route runners on a team. T.J. Jones played early. This guy might too.

These routes are similar to what Michael Mayer would run when he was detached from the line of scrimmage. Hooks curls, slants. Sitting down in a soft spot of a zone or getting across the face of a lb in man

I'm excited for all the young receivers.  They're all special.  Need Merriweather to get involved this summer.  It will be interesting to see if Colzie and Merriweather can keep these kids off the field next fall.  Thomas looks legit!

I liked that Sam doesn't hold the ball. Quick decisions lead to yards after catch Slow decisions lead to big hits, receiver injuries and interceptions.
