Note that both On3 and 247 have Sam as a composite 4* despite both ranking him as a 3*. Rivals has him as a 4* while ESPN has no rating for him.

He will probably be our "lowest ranked" O-lineman in the class, which is still pretty darn good. Not a head turner, but he is a very solid pickup.

Never know how these kids will develop during their time though. Been 5 star busts and un-ranked studs.

Yes….if I remember correctly Joe Alt played TE in high school until his senior year. Then he was only rated a 3 star OT…..un-ranked stud category

Adding 60 pounds in a year transformed him from a 3* skinny OL prospect to Freshman AA.

Having an NFL Hall of Fame father doesn't hurt the coaching/guidance part either. Means the bloodlines are solid too.
