Rocketsan 768
LOL, what a time to see this message. Had laser surgery to get my stone Tuesday, and get the stent out tomorrow. The stent is longer than you think... http://i60.tinypic.com/kd74mr.jpg My wife (who's an ICU nurse) was pulling it out like it was a magician's scarves trick... Pissed this bad boy out a few weeks ago like a champ...calcium oxalate... http://i61.tinypic.com/2moqmir.jpg

Rocketsan 768
Please tell me it wasn't the coin you pee'd out.... LOL, no the stone my doc paraded around his office in awe... Get your stent out yet? My surgeon said a guy came in and told him he removed the stent himself..the doc asked "what colour was it?" dude said "black..." Doc laughed, all the guy did was cut the black thread off... LOL
IrishGuy 178
For the love of all that is good and holy.....:jaw: Back in 20.....going to go drink a $hitload of water!
Rocketsan 768
You need to spread out water consumption all day. Drink a lot before bed too... 3 litres per day (not sure what that is in gallons). Add lemon to it as the citric acid helps calcium bind to your urine. TexasDomer 1,289
Got the stent out... holy cow was that awful. Just woke from a nap after the post-removal after-shock. As I understand it, it's all downhill from here.

chirodomer 47
The blue stent looked pretty small!
TexasDomer 1,289
So how long after removal before I stop getting the painful "aftershocks"? It got removed at 9 a.m. yesterday, and this morning I'm having pain on that side that's got me up at 1 a.m.
Rocketsan 768
Might be passing pulverized stone...do you have multiple stones perhaps?
TexasDomer 1,289
No. Apparently, this is after effect of the stent sometimes. I called the "on call" doctor this morning.

TexasDomer 1,289
My dick just ran away If it helps. that is NOT where the pain is. Pain is in the internal tube between kidney and bladder.
J.P. 0
This post stent pee talk is giving me nightmares. I had to pee before I was allowed to leave the doctors office. Yeah in hindsight I should have sat down for that one, I almost passed out.

Rocketsan 768
Back in the hospital...6mm one on the left and 9mm on the right. The 6 is moving...this was by far the worst pain I have felt through all this. There was a cop in the emergency room, I asked him to shoot me. Sent me home in hopes I can pass it...if not, I'm going back under.
