  1. Irish riding a 9 game winning streak after crushing the Meatchicken.
  2. The last 4 years yes. Before that no and I would even argue that he had some teams that should have competed in the playoffs and they never showed up. His last 4 years were also historically weak schedules. I would say Kelly isn’t that good of a coach and he underachieved at ND for the talent he brought and the talent he left on the curb because he wouldn’t recruit.
  3. Because Hawaii has their own schedule. What were they supposed to play us the weekend of their conference championship and just plan on not making it. Besides that, ND does not appear to be doing that, so, again ND loses their argument that at least they play an all FBS schedule.
  4. I just don’t know if he will be able to hold up academically. I think he is a risky take.
  5. No FCS teams ever. ND has no leg to stand on. They have no moral superiority going forward. If we are going to schedule FCS teams we might as well join a conference. That is another game I will not be watching. That will be 2 games I will have not watched in 20 years. The other was the bs peacock shit.
  6. I am not a fan of the spread offense or RPO’s. Needless to say I haven’t enjoyed the majority of offenses for awhile. I did love when ND had the power run game going there for a couple years. I am a huge fan of power run and play action off it. Crossing routes from under center. Slants all day. 2 TE sets. 5 wide like 3 times a game. 😁👍
  7. https://valiantuofm.com/pages/meettheteam If a university facilitating NIL with players is supposedly against the rules it appears to me that this would be pretty blatant cheating. I don’t see how this was setup without the help of the university. If it isn’t against rules why isn’t ND doing the same thing.
  8. I didn’t quit politics but realized the duopoly only care about .1% of this country and consider the rest of us as their indentured servants or dirty lazy peasants to be disposed of.
  9. So you think he has been ND's for a little while now and we are just waiting for the announcement? I know you aren't calling it or guaranteeing anything but from what you are seeing the momentum has clearly swung to ND?
  10. After reading the article it sounds like other ventures that former ND athletes are pursuing for current ND athletes. The ND athletes I guess aren't advertising as much as other schools.
  11. 8 million for 3 years seems like it would be more than most rookie contracts, not first rounders, but most, right. (I could be totally wrong. I didn't look.)
  12. This could get to the point where it will entice players to stay in college longer because they will make more money than in the NFL. That actually could help ND dramatically.
  13. I think this personnel grouping will be the most used. It gets the teams beat playmakers on the field. I think next years offense can be really dynamic. Hopefully Buchner can be what we all hoped he’d be when he verbally committed. The kid has all the tools. He just has to put them together. But if he does this offense is going to be crazy fun to watch. Passes on 1st down going deep. Misdirection runs on 3rd and longs. This offense could be really special. We got the speed. We got the bruisers. Now they just have to put it all together.
  14. I don’t know if this was really an Alexander issue or Kelly. Either way WRs have been underperforming at ND just to go into the league and explode for over a decade now. (Explode might be a slight over exaggeration) Hopefully this ship is now righted and these dynamic playmakers ND keeps getting might actually do something while still at the university and before their Senior year.
  15. The tweets are form Drayk Bowen it was Peyton that took the trip to Oklahoma.
  16. That’s the thing I’ve heard that ND is behind in NIL but haven’t actually seen any evidence other then hearsay, but I have been given evidence that ND isn’t doing bad in the NIL department. Examples are what Hamilton was getting and the department ND has setup to help athletes maximize their NIL. So I just want some solid numbers on what teams are doing and kids are making. Until that we are all just guessing and basically the ones landing the top classes are doing awesome things for the kids with NIL and the ones not doing good must not be offering good NIL money.
  17. How does this have NIL written all over it? How is this different from any other time highly rated kids have wavered from ND commitments once other big time offers come in. I don’t know how you could blame this on NIL unless you have some reports that I am not aware of.
  18. Now I can finally believe it’s happening. There was no way I was going to get excited for this hire until it was done. It appears to finally be done and I think it’s Freeman’s best hire. Checks all the boxes. Freeman will be free to be a head coach and not focus entirely on the defense. This is a very good hire in almost all respects.
  19. If the university(admissions), alumnus(boosters), and athletic dept(already there) ever get on the same page and make winning at the highest level again a priority you will see a juggernaut like never seen before. Even greater than Alabama's run and would make OSU look like Cuyahoga Community College(TriC). Its a huge ask, but maybe one day they will remember who they are and what made the university what it is today.
  20. I’d rather donate directly to a fund. Who gets the other 25%.
  21. This does not surprise me in the least. He is a hell of a QB guru and highly respected. This is also why I wanted ND to hire him. Not that it would help ND get Arch but other top ranked QB recruits. If Texas ends up with him that bites.
  22. I think Deland sees more opportunity in college to advance to a head coaching position then he does in the NFL hence why he left the Chiefs originally to go back to IU
  23. There have been a couple ND insiders saying it MIGHT be a possibility that Tommy would get a look because McVey has such a high regard for him but that’s it.
