  1. Why? You want to pigeonhole every coach and prevent them from advancing their career? That's a good way to line up future coaches. Good thing the only think you coach is pocket pool in your mom's basement!!
  2. Yeah, well I heard Eddie Vanderdoes grandma gave Alex Anzalone a lap dance while he was on recruiting visit in South Bend...
  3. Irish 31 (including a defensive or ST TD) Tigers 17
  4. Is Sonny Dykes still coach at Cal? Think I heard he never played football.
  5. I'm hearing the Giants are pursuing Jim Harbaugh.
  6. Ditto for me. I completely agree with this. 38-24 Irish
  7. Great discussion so far. All have been impactful to a winning season. I gues I'm just a sucker for a pick 6, especially when the DB baits the QB into it.
  8. Just as title states, what is your favorite ND play of the year .... so far. Corysold posed question in the lurker thread. I though it was a great thread topic. We can add to it as season continues. I will start..... My favorite play so far is Julian Love pick 6 against MSU. ND hadn't beaten a decent team yet. We were all still wondering if new assistants were going to make a meaningful impact in first year. Could this team turn it around? UGA loss was still fresh. MSU was undefeated. Game was early and still in question. ND just scored first TD. If MSU came right back and scored a TD then MSU gets momentum and game in question. Probably turns into a dogfight. Then BOOM!! 27 jumps in front of receiver and is GONE!! To me that play just demoralized MSU and set tone for not just that game but the rest of season. It gave the D so much confidence and let us all know that ND can compete with ranked teams!!
  9. ASB reminds me of Peter Warrick (FSU) if you can remember that far back (late 90's). Both similar build (5'11", 195#). Both fast twitch. I would be ecstatic if he came to ND and turned out similar. Warrick was a Heisman candidate in 1998 and #4 overall draft pick by Bengals in April 2000. Warrick also ran track in high school. 10.59 100m and 7.25 m long jump. Finished with >200 rec, >3500 yds, and >30 TDs. Electric every time he touched the ball. Was one of my favorite non-ND CFB players.
  10. Ditto for me. I agree with everything you said.
