I am not saying the defense played good or even average. In fact, out d-line is probably one of the worst in college football. The point I was making is that should not matter with a spread offense, it is not like Kelly won games 10-7, no he won games 49-38.

I agree with the defensive arguement to an extent, but when the defense is on the field 3/4s of the game points are gonna come. Crist is terrible, this is a spread offense it is designed for horrible QBS to throw 70%, look at all the Texas Tech QBS flipping burgers right now. Absolutely held it down today. As much as the secondary has gotten talked about, they showed their true skills in a real defense. I am not impressed with our D-line nor our linebackers missing tackles all over, but those two showed up. The two best players on the field today, and I am so happy because the secondary was laughed at forever and I knew these two were stars from the day they were recuited. I do not understand the concept or benefit of a revolution. To me this is simple, and you pointed it out the corporate interests. If it were not for so many corporations giving handouts to politicians (mostly conservative) that we would not have these issues. These corporations create groups like freedomworks ect. give to parties (like News corp. giving money to the republican governor commitee, fair and balanced tho right?) and now they can create advertisements and are considered people with the same rights! I also agree with CJ on one point, what is a special interest group, would the Humane Society be considered special interest, or the SPLC? Both liberal groups granted, but fighting against hate crimes and animal right does not seem political to me. If you are talking about how the banks own everything you have and you are slave to them then I agree. Even if you die you still never own the property, unless you have kin. I will get my conservative on and even if you own a property outright you still have to pay taxes which are not cheap, so in theory it is the government or the bank that ownes your property. Now, these groups that are out there acting a fool attract a following that is the problem. But is it not the in the same manner of when Obamas reverend had the crazy speech and everyone on the right went after Obama for who he "associated" with. I mean I do not think these groups are a minority of evangelicals, they are well-funded and have a huge following. They talk all day about the end of days and getting people frieghtened. David, I am sure there are a lot of rational evangelicals. I did not mean to single out a whole group. It is just when you hear stories of most of the chaplins now being controlled by evangelicals for our soldiers and there being prostesized, and even punished if they do not show up for their events. It seems clear that our military along with the evangelical church is trying to create this uber-christian military, so instead of defending our land they are being taught to defend a certain belief system. Also, I see these non-rational evangelicals everywhere with signs say "GOD hates fags", "Jews are gonna burn" ect. And at least in my personal experience on college campuses telling people "your going to hell" to random people to garner attention. This focus on the family stuff is hateful as well. Conservatives just want a Christian vs. Islam war. They want their little holy war where the end of days come because their life is so miserable with this black president, gay marriege stuff, they can not handle advancement.
