    Do people forget how good he is? I understand the headache but in this day an age, where 5 stars are taking money, can ND really turn him away if he spent a semester away and realized he screwed up. Additionally, this would use up his one transfer until he graduates.

    People forget where ND football was before he was hired... If ND stayed the course, they would have been forced into a conference by their on field performances.

    Thats what i really think these are, insurance plans. In the past people have complained about ND getting spurned at the last minute by a 5 star and not having time to back up. This allows them to big game hunt

    I also have noticed more multi sport athletes, which also may hurt players ratings as they arent able to do the camp circuits.

    Interesting article on The Athletic which would think outside the box ND signs a non shoe exclusive apparel deal that would outfit the teams with uniforms gear ect but allow players to sign their own shoe deal through NIL. This would really attract top players and allow them to maximize NIL in the way NIL, and Notre Dame envisioned. That approach, while unlikely, would be HUGE to mens and womens basketball.

    I am probably the bad response. Doesnt do anything for me either way. I only hit the "unread content button" then open those all in a new tab that i am interested in, and mark site as read.

    His offer reminds me of Kizer, where people questioned size, competition, why ND was the first big offer etc. No clue if he is the same type of player but i remember the same concerns when he was offered.

    Issue is also ND has based level to get enrolled as a HS student, Foreign language (i think Calc) redit etc. Just letting the people transfer in with certain GPAs circumvents that

    Dude passed up a bunch of jobs and was quite loyal to ND. Regarding Tyler, thats the reality, kids want to play. It isnt about loyalty, it is about opportunity for personal development.
