    Agree on the first part. But that means that NDs QB room this year would have been Buchner, Angeli and Minchey. Pyne still would have left. What would their record have been?

    I just dont understand where this confidence of only have 3 QBs on the roster is OK. 1 leaves, one gets hurt, one doesnt pan out. That is realistic. Dont need to look far into the histroy books to understand it. Also, taking a QB doesnt mean that QB has to play. Look at Bama and Buchner, you dont promise the starting job to them. Do you think Bama is happy he is on their roster, sure. It didnt hurt them at all to have him as their q3 and compete.

    What happens if 1 gets hurt and 1 transfers? Need to have 4 scholarship QBs on the roster. Attrition will happen.

    I think you 100% have to get one. I also dont know why people assume Kenny or Angeli wont transfer themselves. Transfer portal is a two way street.

    I think you take a transfer for the very reasons you laid out Lets say Angeli transfers, Minchey gets hurt... then you are stuck with a freshman... more talent the better

    When put that way, I like this. BK had a philosophy of taking a QB every other year. Thta made misses hit worse. If you change it to a wild card every other year, with a solid high 4 star, it makes me feel better. Hell, the odds of QBs staying 4 years at a school, and not playing is slim to none.

    Interesting. Wonder if Bear was ready to commit and they told Deuce to shit or get off the pot (pun entirely unintended but discovered as a I reread this) ? If so concerns me about sticking.
