very cool Irish5589!
I work with IrishNYgirl who calls me Scarlett (O'Hara) because I am forever saying "Afterall tomorrow is another day" and it was my grandmother's maiden name.
It's hard to see the Phillies as underdog. I am of course pulling for the Yankees as I have since I came to the U.S. each summer and went to a game and now that I live here attend a few games each season. But if it isn't in the cards this year, I'm glad it will be to the Phillies who were equally great to watch this season. Here's to a great series and here's to watching the ND/Army game next November in Yankee Stadium!
Sorry if you don't like the term outcoached but that's how I saw it yesterday. I think we agree on most points Irishwave so I'm not sure where you got the other idea that "no team should compete against us" and the rest of the above. What my post was about was "Good News" -- I was proud of our players and that they did put 34 pts on the board and came from behind and fought. I don't want CW's head. I want him here when we rise again. I stand behind him as an offensive coach. I think they played a great game that included mistakes and I hope they all learn from them and that includes CW! Go Irish!
The good news is after being stripped of a td, having a bunch of bad calls against us, being outcoached, we we're still the Fighting Irish. We have some great talent.
Good for you honey!!
Q. What do you call a good looking girl on the Michigan Campus?
A. A visitor.
(except for you Sharon)
Don Juan, I want in on that club!!
I was constantly combing the crowd thinking I would know ya when I saw ya. Never did get to the Linebacker - my girls are just too young and I couldn't sneak em in. Maybe next year us "peeps" can meet up.
