I wanted to KSU win so bad. And TCU too. I hate Bama, UM, OSU, and UGA so bad... LFG!!

I like the schedule in 23! Two big home games in the first half. And OSU with a rook QB!!! And I like our chances vs USC at home too. And at Clemson on the road... They are down in several places, and with a new QB too. And on the bolded.... truth!!! lol.... Hate the distraction of prep for their O, and injury concerns. If it were up to me... Every year the first game, and in Ireland or UK...

I wasn't 100% focused either lol. Travel day, but caught it all. Still unpacking, and cleaning today with the games on. Still plenty of coffee breaks, and will focus if the games are close. Bummed I wasn't watching ND with the laptop or IPad in front of me! I did de-Christmasing for 2 houses on Thursday lol. Drinks tonight... stocked up at Costco...

I agree it's harsh and filled with uber hate lol.. But I think some harsh is deserved. He's been in the system for 2 years, and had package time last year. Like I posted earlier in another threads.... Some great moments, but also some atrocious moments. I agree his arm strength is fine. But decision making, progressions, and D reading is lacking. And mechanics is still very rough. That's a lot to overcome in the offseason. Still, better this game, vs early year. Perhaps a lot of hard work can help. You never know. I wouldn't compare ND's O vs SC's game vs UGA though. In short, half of SC's starting D was gone. SC was without 3 starting DLs, and 2 starting CBs.

KY with Levis opting out... the KY/Iowa game is super sucky..

On QBs... TB was a big project (mechanics) to start with. I don't like big projects lol... I want a natural QB that does not require major surgery... On the RZ/EZ calls. He called plays vs the D. One worked well (back across the grain for a TD), and one was bad execution. I understand that some wanted RBs, but they were stacking, and the pass plays were there (open guys). I prefer aggressive I guess, and no fear regardless of QB (especially in a big game). Rumor that Rees was very popular at LAC, and could go back with ease. IMO, he's being patient at ND until he gets a true QB. Coan was the nearest, and he was still very limited. Hartman isn't elite, but better than Coan. IMO, has better with reading Ds and progressions. Should unlock several things in our O.

35-0... yuck... Tide rolling... I expected a 20+ point win, but KSU teased me... My top 4 (best, not most deserving)... UGA, UM, Bama, OSU... Hope at least TCU plays well vs UM... I can see a UM blow out. Cheering for TCU to win it all... I know, won't happen... but I'm cheering for them.

Embarrassing that he was recruited? He was a top 10ish QB with offers from Bama, UGA, USC, Michigan, OR, etc.. Yes, a bit of project (mechanics), but not an embarrassment (recruiting) at all. Never been a huge fan of him (due to mechanics), but your take is uber-hate lol...

Yup. For me, my floor is 2 losses next year. We have an early start with 3 easy teams to iron things out.... , then 2 tough home games (OSU and USC) in 3 weeks. I expect at least one win from those 2, especially from OSU with a new QB. And at Clemson later season (also a new QB).. The rest are wins. Good chance to be CFP team with Hartman even if we drop one from OSU/USC/Clemson. OL should be improved. Passing game should be improved. RBs will be back. Evans will be stud. WR should be improved. D will be above average if not very good.

Rees is safe lol. And he did good this year, with 2 meh QBs, and a struggling OL (1st half of season). If for some reason he's gone, he'll quickly find a good job. Better chance he get a better job, than be without one lol.

Most P5 schools (collectives) do the same. Everyone gets a taste. Big recruits get more, and big starters get more (from collectives, and direct deals).

I'm good with instant eligibility. I just wish they limit transfers to 2 windows. One transfer after Sophomore year, and one transfer after grad/4th year. In short, make kids get through 2 years to start, and lock kids for JR and SR years. It would tame the Wild West to an extent...

Mixed emotions from me. 2 home losses vs bad teams, and very meh showing vs a bad Navy, isn't erased from the good. No big deal. I do think it's learning season for Freeman, and didn't expect perfection from him in year one. Expectations increase in 23! Hoping we lock Hartman in tomorrow, or next week. If so, we'll start in the top 10 IMO.

IMO, trying to help draft position. Stroud is trending lately, so Young needs help right now with Stroud playing in the CFP. And Saban talked strongly about participation (very old school) and treating like a CFP game.

Yup. Howard has started the second half of the season, so not a bid deal that Martinez is out anyway. But yes, saw at least 2 runs from him.

Posted the opt outs above, but both teams are pretty good (roster). Bama will be missing 2 starters (one LB IIRC, can't remember the other). I think KSU is without 2 too. IMO, both coaches/teams taking seriously. Most Bama fans I know are let down (no CFP), and care less lol... But don't want to lose either.... Young is worried about his draft position (wants the #1 spot). Stroud is improving in mocks lately.

And a shout out to Tommy. Great called game. I know some pass calls PO'd some, but he had to call vs the D, and not worry about his own QB lol... I'm totally good Lenzy coming back. Wouldn't blame Pyne though. He was open plenty with both QBs (Buchner prior to injury). The progressions all year prioritized Meyer, which is understandable. And after Meyer, it was platoon of random progressions. And the OL didn't help the passing game the first half the season. And TBH, not a big fan personnel packages at times (very conservative, and overly short routes at times). But overall, Lenzy might look much better with a guy like Hartman.

IDK... one play... he's bad... next play... he's great... He'll need a very productive offseason (improvement) if he wants to start in 2023.

Cussing at times, rejoicing at times lol.. Travel for me today, but still caught it all. And the 2nd half of the UT/Clem game. QB - Buchner was either great at times, or horrible at times lol.. A few absolutely beautiful passes, and a few big bone headed passes. OL - Left side was great at times. Right side and middle struggled at times. TE - Evans is going to be a stud. Incredible blocking all game, and showed some catching talent. RB - Estime and Diggs are a fantastic pair. We are lucky. And Diggs did it catching too. WR - Nice games from Lenzy and Thomas. D - Benny, JuAde, and Botelho had great games. JuAde really stepped up. Really overall the D did really great to start the 2H. Overall - Even when we stepped on our dicks, didn't quit. I would have been super PO'd if we lost... Always great beat to the SEC regardless. Let's build on this!!!!
