  1. Only if they had the grace and beauty of say figure skating, like a triple salchow windmill dunk...
  2. Got to looking at OT Jackson Cantwell, kid is a mammoth. Winning a state title in shot put as a freshman. Of course his dad got a silver medal at the '08 Olympics, so the bloodlines are there. He'll easily be one of the most sought after recruits in his class.
  3. I think he'll rise quite a bit in ranking before all is said and done. Really good pick up. Could be a tweener type if he is still growing(LB or rush end) but the athleticism is there.
  4. Good luck to Mr Lewis! I hope this is also a sign of a deep and talented DB room.
  5. Alright then! Need to find Andre the Giant part deux to man the middle, space eat, and take on a whole OL. 🤣
  6. I think he could see a move to safety like Watts.
  7. This is true for all MSM, it's the norm and also why they are dying. I barely watch any ESPN unless it's a particular college FB game or when the NCAA wrestling championships are on.
  8. Since Faraimo us going to play half his games in the Midwest anyhow, might as well make the move lol.
  9. Funny a topic about relevance from a guy trying to stay relavent(Smith).
  10. So many factors, health is a big one.
  11. Right, and having some QBs who can see over them will be helpful, which Carr and Deuce fit the bill. And what back wouldn't want to run behind that.
  12. Spring practice should clear a few things up also ie transfers out.
  13. In addition, perhaps Golden doesn't have much aspirations for another HC gig. Agree with the rest.
  14. LMAO without reading this and knowing we had an opening for the safeties coach...lol and looking at the pic. 🤣
  15. Didn't watch a second of it, I don't care for the NFL at all. The other stuff probably should go to off topic forum for that can of worms.
  16. Rumors out there that Rees may be looked at for the Bruins HC. He just got hired by the Browns. Weird off season coaching carousel. Tom has ties to the program with his dad who was on the staff for awhile and brother played there. The Bruins haven't exactly been tearing it up on the field so expectations aren't high and you have the big transition to the BIG West next year.
  17. Right. Having our staff receive overtures from other teams, or the staff go out and apply/get better opportunities is not a bad thing. That's a sign of a healthy program and shows that there are things we are doing right. Other up and coming coaches are going to see this also and the environment Freeman is building, thus wanting to come aboard.
  18. Kid looks real lanky, in a good way. Rather have taller safeties than munchkins.
  19. Agreed. Lou in those early years had to credit a lot to Vinny Cerrato. Multiple #1 recruit classes and tons of blue chippers really solidified '88-'93. Those were as close to Saban type classes and on the field results in my lifetime, and may never be replicated. Bowden and Freeman are clearly attacking recruiting, NIL, and the portal proactively/creatively, while others are noticing. Hopefully we'll notice with the on the field product as a result too.
  20. Link to article I saw on NDNation. https://footballscoop.com/news/sources-marcus-freeman-stays-hot-hanging-on-to-chad-bowden-after-michigan-courtship
  21. NDNation making sound like he is staying. Also mentioned that programs are taking notice of some things ND is doing in recruiting, which Bowden gets some credit for and probably Freeman too. This is a good thing.
