  1. St. Paul was sarcastic in some of his letters.
  2. LOL! How boring! You can just ask if you don't know. There is not a "don't ask, don't tell" policy at DD as far as I know.
  3. I'd like to see something done about the inability of some readers on this forum to recognize sarcasm.
  4. Wah, wah, wah. Is someone holding your eyes open (ala A Clockwork Orange) forcing you to read political posts? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Af0bdmcSXis/SwqX46Mc9aI/AAAAAAAAAP8/Gryg2HL0ktc/s400/clockwork_big.jpg
  5. If this would have been handled differently, no one would even have known that SJ wasn't carrying out his mod functions. He could have still "acted" like a mod, like JoePa "acts" like the head coach, and we could have all been spared the drama. Not a happy ending for SJ, but it could have been. Still can be in my view if the mods reconsider their decision.
  6. Yes it was but obviously the decision to take everything out of his office and not allow him to work there anyomore was made without his knowledge and acceptance. He came into work the next morning and was told to give up his key and that he can't work in his office anymore but can only come into the building like anyone else.
  7. Nah, I mean he's the guy who should be out to pasture but should be kept around as long as he wishes because he essentially started DD and he should be respected as such. JoePa these days doesn't do much as a head coach even though that is his titular position. They took away many of his responsibilities but just couldn't fire him and humiliate him. A nice way to handle the situation in my view. How they handled Bobby Bowden is another story. I don't agree with much of what SJ says even when I can understand what he is saying but it doesn't seem like he's getting the BB treatment. More like the JoePa treatment. The only thing that should have been done differently in my view was to discuss with him upfront the decision about removing his ability to mod, tell him why they think it is a good idea, and get him to buy into it, which he probably would have had they done that. But now you got the old feller all riled up. And given the way SJ hasn't let go of defending CW, I doubt he will ever let this go. If I was a mod, I would reinstate his ability to be a mod and have that discussion I mentioned above at later date when SJ is open and willing to step down.
  8. Now that's putting your back into your living..............
  9. Every additional piece of information we get about BK is beginning to paint a pretty good picture of how things will be. I expect that good things will happen and we will get back to our winning tradition. BK is taking care of the little things and shaking things up a bit. He's been there, knows what he is doing as a complete head coach, something we have lacked for too long. Can't wait to see the fruits of his efforts on the football field!
  10. You forgot to update us on your spell-checker.
  11. I asked a serious question. You chose to dodge it. How is she white trash? What makes her a "tard?"
  12. Ask Don Juan to fix you up so you can see all of the buttons and tags.
  13. Oh crap! I just noticed them. I don't know how I could have missed those. (Bold, italic, quote) Duh! Anyway, what about fixed font columns and tables? And a strikethrough button?
  14. I'd like to see: 1. Ability to edit threat title when you make a typo. 2. Buttons for all of the html tags like bold, italic, etc. 3. New html capabilities like fixed font (colums), tables, strike out, etc. Here is an example of a sports board that has these tags when you are composing a post and it makes it very easy to bold, italic, etc. merely by highlighting and clicking on the appropriate button. Take a look at this site for some other cool features: http://valpofans.proboards.com/index.cgi? To see how cool posting is, you need to sign up. It's free.
  15. I doubt she would get near a lib like you. Only in your dreams. Libs love to fantasize MILF'ing republican babes and commiting adultry. (The party of Clinton) That's cause there aren't many good-looking democrat women: http://boortz.com/images/funny/republican_women.jpg http://boortz.com/images/funny/democrat_women.jpg
  16. Palin in California: Climate Change a "Bunch of Snake Oil Science" http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/politics/Palin-in-California-Climate-Change-a-Bunch-of-Snake-Oil-Science-83881197.html You gotta love how she makes fun of the libs in the Land of the Fruits and the Nuts!
  17. Palin is unelectable in part because she is not liked by independents. The best way for another four years of the socialist empty suit would be for republicans to give her the nod. That would be just downright stupid! She is valuable to the party in so many other ways. But she is not presidential material at this time. And she is no bimbo. Just google some of her interviews on CNBC before she was VP. She is very knowledgable about energy policy and even though the dimocrats thought she was running for president, she wasn't, even though she had more executive experience in her right pinky than Zero had his entire life. One other reason that she should not run at this time is that the MSM did a job on her and "jacketed" her. And voters who rely solely on liberal news didn't really get to know the real Sarah Palin, who is bright, articulate, and a much better candidate than the current resident/socialist in the WH. Both the dimocrats and the MSM are very good at the politics of personal destruction. Once the false impressions are set in concrete, they are hard to change. As someone noted, Zero has made his share of stupid gaffes, but they don't get repeated ad nauseum on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc. as they did with Sarah (and other republicans) thereby creating an impression in the minds of viewers, albeit a false impression, that she is a moron. Yet the libs try and make excuses for Zero's saying there are 57 states. Hell, that's more stupid than misspelling potato. If it wasn't for double standards, liberals would have no standards at all.

I noticed that no lib or dem has responded to your OP. Deafening silence. When you ask for an intelligent discussion and an explanation of their logical rationale laying out their plan to deal with this potential threat, all you get is deafening silence. Libs would rather ignore the problem, deny the potential threat, extend their hand of friendship for dialogue and patiently wait for: 1. the bad guys to realize that the US is really a good country and 2. them to join the US in a round of singing Kumbaya around the campfire. You can't trust liberals and modern-day dems with national security. These guys and gals live in a fantasy world where they think there is this mythical land beyond the mountains where the whole world can sit down together, smoke pot together and dig each other's love for one another. If we are not careful in who we elect as the leader of the free world, we are going to get a huge blast of reality right quick!!! You don't think that nutcase in Iran isn't testing Mr. Empty Suit like crazy right now? Gee, I wonder why. God help us.
