    Agree. Hartman is the best QB ND has had since Clausen left campus. Team is complete as I have seen it, minus a consistent kicker.

    Lot of positives in the personnel department. Alt was noteworthy and RBs great. Estime was playing below his normal level.

    I appreciate the idea of winning out but if we can’t beat a down OSU we are going to have a tough time with a good USC team.

    Freeman is much our guy as anyone. As long as we are willing to live on moral victories and squashing Navy, this is it. That isn’t pessimism, that is 30 years of the same old stuff.

    I’ve tried over the years, I guess you pick one team and you can’t ever get away from it. I need to start weaning my kids off while there is still time.

    Burning clock. Playing well. Good execution and play calling. I don’t think we are going to be able to keep getting 10 yards a play but looking good. Sad we get only a year of Hartman.

    I was irritated for the same reason. The whole celebrity showcase is a clown show but seeing the way he treated his son coming to the sideline after taking a shot gave me some perspective on him as a human. The reporters post game asked him all about his sons and he made sure to make it about the team not just his kids. A lot more class than I expected.

    Crazy ending to the Buffs game. I though CSU had them dead to rights. Hard not to like Sanders.
