At this point, you either adapt and change with the times, or you get left behind. And from what I have seen so far, Bevacqua has the proper goals in mind to lead Notre Dame athletics in the right direction, and so it’s not left behind. Let’s just hope NBC and its alumnus at the helm of ND sports recognize that pushback and that it’s what most people want. Also, that’s not 1974…that’s 2018. Most of this crap didn’t happen until around 2019 and then exploded in 2020. Whether it’s womens golf banning men playing against women, or it’s a black Harvard professor going public about his study showing there is no police racial bias in shootings, the tide is turning.
