I saw him give a talk about his system when he was at Texas Tech.  Loved hearing him talk about his system.

What happened?  I saw last night or this morning about him needing prayers, and he was life flighted to a hospital.

I thought he was a interesting coach to be sure.

Heart attack, but apparently it lasted too long.  He was kept on life support for the family, but in essence, he’s been gone for a bit.  I think Bill Snyder officially mentioned his death a little bit ago.

Terrible. There is always room for characters in this sport. He was not full of coach-speak, "one at a time"; "take what they give us" drivel. He was unique.

He was also an underrated coach. Texas Tech was competitive; Wazzou was a dumpster fire when he got there. Miss States won 8 games this year.
