I don't think LSU was ever really in play, even before when BK was here. I think LSU was his first offer, but IIRC, ATM and Auburn were the only other teams under real consideration. Michigan and OSU tried, and I think he visited Michigan. He also camped at Bama. Getting an LA guy though is super nice regardless. Good kid and good family. His brother spurned LSU too.

Zinter is a really interesting prospect. Background as a TE, stand up edge rusher, and also covers lol... 

He's big too height wise.
