is pretty entertaining to watch only due to the announcers. They'll say things like "he skates with such wreckless abandon!"....or "he just attacks those tripple toe loops!"...all with Gus Johnson like enthusiasm. just waiting for will ferrell and jon heder to step out onto the ice.

all right, what is up with johnny weir??? the dude is a complete freak...the nasty rat he has on his head is one thing, but the blouse, lipstick, eye make up and necklace that looks like it was buried with my grandmother is just over the top.......

 

Now I have to tune in.

Yeah somewhat. I think these Olympics show precisely why communism/socialism just don't work. They have been a mess so far.

 

Obviously communism/socialism doesn't work. But with Olympics i would argue the opposite. The Beijing games was awesome to watch. I thought the opening ceremony for Sochi was awesome too. yeah a few bathroom/contruction issues but i haven't seen anything on a grand scale. Meanwhile, Brazil is so far behind sched for the 2014 world cup they'll need a dictator to crack the whip...even if it costs them a few dead bodies.

I am at a loss for words on this comment. I've sat here for ten minutes and still, nothing. Maybe you can just give some examples of the mess and what it has to do with socialism. Please tell me this wasn't an actual sound bite from FoxNews. Jesus.

Anyways...back to the olympics....that johnny weir is a riot. glad to see the US take home 2 snowboarding golds. I'm looking forward to watching Shaun White but I've realized I tend to pay attention more to summer than winter olympics. Maybe its cause of phelps and swimming...but also Bolt with track...and i prefer gymnastics waaaay more to figure skating. Just more stars and better sports i guess.

i like the strength and grace of the figure skating, but the subjectivity of the scoring makes it near unbearable to watch. I prefer events where, like swimming or downhill skiing, your time is your time.....

I expected as much. Most of the uniformed have little to say, other than what they hear on FoxNews. I was simply hoping for an explanation to the comment YOU MADE. I encourage you to read a book, do some research, anything other than spewing propaganda. ;)

 

This isn't about Capitalism or Socialism. Neither system works when controlled by a few. This is about our children's future. Stop being distracted by the BS media smokescreen being pumped onto the blue screen and figure out what is really happening. Find your voice man.
