I would love to...even at the Colesium! Let my grandchildren at them... Alot of them are SC fans because it's kinda like a fad out here. Most don't even understand their history.

The key point to gaining on last year is really how our guy's are coached. I realistically see a 9 win season, but for a new coach implementing a new system...8 wins would be more like it.

I honestly feel that if Brian Kelly comes aboard...we won't be settling. It makes sense...he's a very decent coach, proven at the NCAA I level.

You know, I was ready for Weis to step down. I really felt change was needed. But what I do not understand is why all of a sudden some of us are trying to throw a man who gave everything he had to this University? Sure, what he had was just not enough. I let the record speak for itself. The offensive line, the defensive line, our running game was lacking, we were soft, we telegraphed our game plan...week in and week out, we didn't blitz enough, we weren't nasty, we blitzed too much, we couldn't kick the ball into the end zone. Guy's...this has been gone over and over until we can't find any new ways to explain ourselves. We just couldn't do it...PERIOD. Our season officially ended November 28th. I don't mind rehashing these shortcomings...let's just all agree that change was needed...and change is just about here? Give Charlie a break...he's gone.

Bearcat Board is a bit upset... http://forums.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=341&f=1604&t=5263576 They are actually calling for the Big East to kick our basketball and soccer programs out.

What if there is a deal already in place...and for the most part only a handful of people are in the know? And just maybe it's Kelly. But doesn't he still have an obligation to his current team? With a major decision as selecting our new head coach, the appearence of us dragging our feet could be something else all together? There have been mistakes since trying to replace Holtz. I feel the ones making this decision have made their mind up already. We will continue to deal with the rumors contrary to this until the coach is actually made public. Everyday a new name/candidate will continue to appear.

I have been back and forth with Gruden, Kelly, Stoops and Meyer. I wanted any of them. I could almost gauge my day by whom I felt was coming. But by night something (the media) turned me all around, again. But Meyer and/or Gruden just keeps coming back to me. They are the two least discussed here. Seriously...most threads here are talking kelly and Stoops.

Welcome to Domer Domain Big Red. Glad to have you posting with us. I do not feel Charlie will stay within the college ranks. In time he may eventually end up back in the NFL.
